Bonnie, I teach elementary all grades. I sub, but I contract only to one school. So, I teach literally every day. I never know where I am going until I get there every day. The bright spot is that my girls go to school there, so I am on a first name basis with all the teachers that my kids will have. It also keeps me very informed as to what is going on in their classes. I was a SAHM until the youngest went to school. Before that, I was a Reg. Sales Assistant to a Stock Broker. My Bachelors is in Accounting. I didn't want to go back to that once the kids began school. I like being with them, I can keep their schedule and summers off.

Mary that's exactly the way I started. I was lucky enough to be a SAHM too until they ready to start school. I subbed while my boys were in elementary school and I became a certified teacher when they went to middle school. Now my oldest is going off to HS. All the way across the parking lot. I'm anxious already

Today I'm going to a job interview for the same--a Kindergarten position at a preschool. I love Kindergarten!!

So do I. That's why I teach middle school

Denise- Yes, my name is Kim, you are good at names in my book! As for dinner, I dont have any idea. My DH is the cook in this house as he enjoys it and is really good at it! I hate cooking and can be pretty lousy at it. Therfore I usually do all the laundry instead

You lucky girl! My DH takes care of the grilling, and ocasionally cooks, but I'm the prime cook of the house. It's not my favorite, but I can tolerate it. Once in a while I really enjoy it. I do the laundry, too. UGGHH! I despise laundry!
