I see how it is. I leave for 30 mins and everyone comes out to talk. :rolleyes1 As for the new job, it's working in the transplant services dept in the local hospital/school. It's a great opp and my DH also works there but in a different dept. I think the job itself is receptionist/adminstrative assistant. I will be glad to get out of the house and doing something:)

Wait, DRG is here? I'm leaving! :rotfl:

Just kidding. The new job sounds cool. Good luck with that.

Hi Harley! Great to see your cute self today!

My husband just crackberried me that he got stuck in a meeting. :sad2:

We're doing breakfast for dinner tonight: chocolate pecan waffles (I can give you the recipe-it's good!), eggs and bacon. I put the eggs on the waffle iron after I make the waffles and they cook in about 2 seconds.

The waffle maker is of course Pooh and Tigger :lmao:

I'm going to go cook the waffles, I'll just have to keep my hubby's warm. Bummer, it's one of his favorite meals.

Sarah- Sounds great! Go back to the thread about the Britney interview. Reread your post. You'll notice something funny. :teeth:

 I'm such a dork!

Bonnie, I am never too busy. DH hates the computer and me on it so I'm usually on when he's not here or busy with something else. :badpc:

Also, my power cord is giving me fits (laptop) and I am trying to baby it along till I can afford to replace it.

I have a question for all of you with kids in school.....
how much do you usually have to spend on back to school supplies. (clothes, shoes, bookbags not included) Just pencils, paper etc....? I'm doing this now and am curious about others....

OOhhhhh! Disneyrsh- Chocolate pecan waffles!?!?!? THAT SOUNDS SO DELICOUS! :)

::yes:: I think so too. So cough up the recipe.

Chocolate pecan waffles do sound good. I'm not sure yet what we are having for dinner.

Bonnie- that did sound kinda odd about doing circle time without meeting. Are you going to meet or just forget the whole thing?

Hi, Robin! :) That's okay. I don't know of any other Denise's. Atleast we know you're the Robin with the Pooh pic! :)

That made me LOL! Leave it to Bonnie to me Mrs. Bossy Pants! LOL! You know I'm kidding, Bonnie! :thumbsup2 (But please do cough it up! I SO want to make those!)

Waffle iron to make eggs on..... hmmmmm what do you think Bonnie? Better than the coffee pot? LOL

Ok, in a mixer add:

2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar (waffles brown better with it)
1/2 cup canola oil
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk (2 cups for thinner waffles)

Mix until smooth, then pour a blob on each waffle spot. Sprinkle liberally with pecan halves and nestles semisweet chocolate chips. Close waffle iron-the waffle iron will toast the pecans and melt the chocolate right into the waffles.

We have to get the pecans and the chocolate chips at Costco, I make these so often

I'll go ahead and meet one-on-one. Just to see if I'm interested. Plus she might think I suck and decide she doesn't want to hire me. :)
