DH used to be that way when we'd travel between Ohio and Georgia (either way). Then he realized it was a much nicer trip if we took our time. Stopped and ate a real meal etc.... it really doesn't take up that much time.

He drives a concrete truck now so he's local.

If you make it near a metro stop, I can find it just fine!!

AHHHHH!!! METRO!!!! DH will have to drive, I freak out driving thru DC But we can work it out!

I have the Bambi DVD, FC. When I saw it in theaters I was 3 years old and I still remember crying during the forest fire scene. Very traumatic!

Bambi is an intense film. I thought it was really intense when that bird got shot.

That's good. My kids can watch all the movies they like, but after too much time in the car they get squirrely. Me too, actually! We haven't driven long distance (in one day) before. I think 11 hours from Vegas to Idaho was the longest. We did used to drive to the Yellowstone area each summer (for 4 years) but we took 2 days for that trip.

Gotta share this...

My dh's family use to go on looooonnnggg trips! They didn't like to stop very much... onward & straight to there destination.

They had a tinkle potty in the back of the station wagon when the kids had to go It's just funny thinking of tough guy sitting on a tinkle potty!

I called him a grinch earlier, he was pretty grouchy! He got me back though and called me an old hag! This he kissed my check cause he knew that he would be sleeping in the

Thanks, Caitlyn. The one on the left has the same name as you. I usually get on this thread about 8:30 or 9:00. Then I'm on and off during the day.
