Space Jam is that basketball movie with Michael Jordan and the Looney Tunes characters. There was that one scene where Bugs Bunny takes shots at Disney.

Oops I should have not mentioned that wabbit's name on this forum.

Ohhhhh yeah I remember that movie....I don't remember that scene but I did see the movie a long time ago.....I always like the looney tunes.

I was watching a DVD of a TV show, Grounded For Life. I mainly rent DVDs of TV shows, since I am a TV nut. But since returning from Disney World, I added some Disney animated movies to my Blockbuster queue. Hopefully, I will finally get to watch Monsters Inc and some of the classic films.

Grounded for Life was a pretty funny show. We use to watch that...You haven't seen Monsters INc.? That was pretty good...we just watched Cars last weekend.

I know, I know. The monorail announcer made me realize that, when he said that there would be an upcoming Monsters Inc attraction in the Magic Kingdom.

Some of the shows, I didn't even bother going to, because they were based on films that I haven't seen.

I have company in from out of town this weekend, so I might not post as much as usual. They are staying at a hotel, so I'll probably be able to get on at night. But I"m just sayin'.....

That was fun chattin' last night, don't ya think? We should do it more often! Designate a certain time each night to meet up.

Hiddy!!!

Been in RL for a couple of days. This is sort of a drive through. I'm trying to show DH and kids that I don't have a problem with my DIS addiction.

Wanna hear a secret?

DH is picking up McDonald's and Taco Bell on the way home from work.

The kids think I'm making some nasty hodge podge for dinner. I will be getting out the skillet and spatula and a few odd ingredients from the pantry to set out on the counter as if I plan on cooking.

I've read that you had a rough week with DH.

My DH has been a little grumpy too.

Maybe there is something in the air around here. Some sort of DH grumpy virus?

Mine was grumpy because we had to change our diets around here. He finally admitted to being grumpy last night. And he said that was why and I said "I know, but it's not my fault" and he said, "Then who's fault is it?" and I said, "It's all THEIR fault". Which is something we say around here that always makes us laugh..............

So we're okay now.

I have a photo album with pictures of my cousins/aunts, etc from my wedding day bridal breakfast. With their pictures is a sweet letter of encouragement and advice for our marriage.

One cousin said "never let the sun go down on your anger. stay up and fight!!!""

It was like steel magnolias that morning. Laughing hard and sobbing all at the same time. I have it all on video to watch on a girly movie night.

Yes and No.

We used to all be very close and loving. Going to the same church together, spending summer mornings at each other's houses drinking coffee/orange juice and talking till noon then fixin sandwiches and staying till mid afternoon.

Holidays were huge at my grandparents big rock house in the country.

So many wonderful memories. Then it all changed.

They everyone grows up, gets married. Trading off holidays with in laws and finding a day in which everyone got together got so complicated.

Grandparents passed away. My aunt and uncle came into bad health.
Aunt has short term memory loss, uncle went off the deep end (hard core conservative condeming church issues) he doesn't speak to my dad anymore.

It's heartbreaking.

My brothers are many years older than I am. Their wives are so different than me. Our kids love to play together. So between the kids and my parents, we really don't make the time to be together otherwise.

I was going to add that the bridal breakfast was one of the last wonderful times we had together. Everything that we were and we had is on that video and in that album. I long to have that again.

It's a treasure to cherish indeed.
