Jay homeschools her three sons. And I think she also does some teaching in a co-op type arrangement with some other homeschoolers.

I had a needed weekend. It was long and full of conversations I would rather not ever have in my life, but it was needed.

They are usually quiet and busy. Mondays are good times to teach. Unfortunately, they have me going to some meeting this morning, so I won't be teaching at all. And since all our subjects except sci and ss are in the morning, I really am just missing a day in each. Which makes me mad. They can practice on things I've taught, of course, but you don't leave anything new for a sub and I like to have a full week on new concepts, so usually introduce them on Mondays.

Waah.
