I am so glad to be better... I haven't done much but sleep the last 3 days.

Denise!! I would get the too long ones and cut them off and hem with the iron on tape. You just have to turn it under and press... and you'd want to press them out of the package anyway. Simple as pie!

RB...I don't think you can possibly know how bad DH and I would be at doing that. I've used that tape before for pants and it was horrible!

I'm trying to get something that is machine washable so I don't have to iron them!

Well, it's not the MOST attractive thing I've done, but I had a window with the same problem and I put a valance on top...they overlapped, but it worked.

Hi Al! I thought of that too...but I don't think it would look right in a closet doorway, you know?

UGH! I don't want to go back to doors...but I'm thinking I might not have a choice.

I was thinking of using the longer ones (84") and just having a few inches lay on the floor. I know I've seen that in some style magazines...I'm just not sure it would work.

Hummmm... well if you'll be hanging a curtain rod, you could hang it higher than the opening, instead of inside it... then you could make it the right length for the longer curtains.

Or just hang the longer ones. It's kind of the fashion -- for windows at least -- to have the curtain just pool at the bottom. Might be annoying for a closet though.

You know, it's funny...I am in no way the fussy housekeeper type. I'm all for easy and care-free stuff, but it has to look like it came out of "House Beautiful" or something

DH is out buying a rod now. I told him we'd hang the too long curtains I already bought and see how they look. If it doesn't work, we're back to the drawing board (and the refund/returns line).

Right now it's just open. And it's not too bad...heck, maybe we'll just leave it like that.

That's how ours is... but it's a walk in. I'd like to say it inspires me to keep it neat... but it's way too small so it catches everything.

It is easy to get at things though!

I just got home from taking the girls to see Flushed Away. I was fully prepared for it to be l-a-m-e. It was HILARIOUS!! I haven't laughed so much during a kid movie since Toy Story 2. Loved it!!
