I think we're taking Pal to see the new Santa Clause movie and Flushed Away this weekend - didn't seem to excited about Open Season...

How's everyone today!! I am back -- well mostly -- in the land of the living!

Can any of you help me with a curtain issue??

Here's the back-story:

Our closet shelving collapsed and DH and I completely re-did the closet (put in aromatic cedar planks and a new hanger/shelf system). It looks great, but I'm tired of the sliding doors.

So, I thought we'd hang curtains there. Only one problem...the opening is about 80". Standard curtain sizes are 63" (too short) and 84" (too long). I even considered a shower curtain, but it's too short too (72").

I refuse to pay for custom curtains, and I can't make them myself. So...I'm left with the option of something that is too short, or too long...what would you do???

I am so glad to be better... I haven't done much but sleep the last 3 days.

Denise!! I would get the too long ones and cut them off and hem with the iron on tape. You just have to turn it under and press... and you'd want to press them out of the package anyway. Simple as pie!

Well, it's not the MOST attractive thing I've done, but I had a window with the same problem and I put a valance on top...they overlapped, but it worked.
