Kim, my DDs dressed up. DD1 was a Diva, DD2 was a Dr.
That tantrum lasted a good 25 minutes. It was thrilling, I tell ya. So I took her back to the friends' house and Kathy continued on with the other kids. She was good after that.
We got three buckets for two kids..............paigevz said:Pics of trick or treating..............

Big Son's still out there, I've just called him home.
I don't think I have ever seen as much candy on Halloween! We always have so much fun trick or treating with the same group of friends. We have had these kids trick or treat together for the past 4 years...it's so cool to watch them grow and change from year to year!!mom2taylorandemily said:Hi Jay![]()
We got some, not a ton, we only went to ones we knew. I'm a bit leary of candy from people that I don't know.
paigevz said:Mine did that too when he first started. He saw a few fit-throwers in action, I think. He settled that down, but he does pick up some language there..........![]()
I can take it and know when it ignore him, but my DH has a short fuse when it comes to stuff like this. I feel like I'm in the middle of a 32 year old and a 3 year old!
Oh, it must be in the water tonight. DD2 was a mess earlier tonight too! She thru a tantrum because she wasn't ready to go when I was.Bbgrizzle said:HI Jay! Hi Kim!!
Yes, I had a fit-thrower tonight too!! She got tired and she threw the biggest tantrum just because someone else pushed the doorbell instead of her. That tantrum lasted a good 25 minutes. It was thrilling, I tell ya. So I took her back to the friends' house and Kathy continued on with the other kids. She was good after that.
My dh has some trouble with kids' stuff..................I am often trying to find the balance between helping him understand and not interfering.............it's not easy.Disney4Drew said:He only goes 2 hours on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I am sending him just for the socialization. He'll come home and tell me "Dylan always makes bad choices...blah blah blah." He screamed in my ear, he grabbed my car...stuff like that. Well, he gets the whole bad choices thing from me because I say that people aren't bad, they just make bad choices sometimes. The thing is....he is now telling this kid what he SHOULD do. And he pretends to be the teacher at home and constantly yells at this kid. I had a big talk to him about how you don't have to be everybody's friend but you do have to be nice to them. He has just been downright LOUD and rude with his words. I hope it wears off soon.I can take it and know when it ignore him, but my DH has a short fuse when it comes to stuff like this. He did learn though, as Big Son got older, so it's not SO often as it was.............
