Oklahoma State University...............in Stillwater. It was rated the number 3 party school in the country the year I was there...........

I think me, my friends, my brother and his friends contributed to that rating..............

I went to UNLV~ University of Nevada Las Vegas.

DH doesn't have a Bachelor's degree, he went to a technical college and has an Associates. It was somewhere in Arizona.

DH doesn't have a Bachelor's degree, he went to a technical college and has an Associates. It was somewhere in Arizona.

I almost went to Arizona to teach..........in a reservation.

I almost went to Arizona to teach..........in a reservation.

Oh! We both worked at the same architectural firm. I was executive assistant for the President of the firm, and he was a drafter. We never spoke to each other though (it was a very large firm). Then one day another coworker had a poker party at his house one night (with nickels, dimes and quarters) and Brent and I were both invited. We just clicked.

We left in '89... that winter there were more than 15 consecutive days
BELOW 20 below zero. I said... there's gotta be more to life and DH could transfer here so we did... why here?? Some times I wonder... but it is a great city.

She sorta kinda answered, Bonnie, but not really.............I REALLY am trying not to go to 5 on my offended count today..................it's probably a pipe dream.

No! He's originally from California, and although I was born in Alaska, I lived in Nevada nearly my entire life. We met up in Vegas and got hitched there and lived there up until this past summer. We just wanted a change, so we chose VA. Got sick of living in the desert and not having any seasons, having nothing kid-friendly around, and nothing historical nearby. We really do love it here, but we aren't having the best luck since we arrived. DH HATES his job and I'm not too fond of mine either. Plus, we're poor!
