I know what you mean. You hate to give in and admit winter will be here soon.

Yep, do do that just kills me! However, because I am a good mom, I did flip on the electric fireplace in the family room where the boys are finishing up a movie. I hate to admit defeat, but I won't freeze my boys out to win either!! :rotfl2:

I am exaggerating, but we really don't get much...............a snow shower here or there without sticking, maybe one really good 2 footer :rotfl: , a couple of ice storms and about a month of below 50 for the high................

Hmmm, must be the climate here...........I'm really HAPPY to turn the heat on for our two weeks of winter................ :rotfl:

That's more like it!! SNOW...snow on the ground in October? PERISH THE THOUGHT! ISH ISH ISH!!

I love having left the snow belt. We used to own an assortment of shovels, deicers, a snowblower and at one point (when we had a long drive) a plow attachment....now, we don't even own a shovel!! Oh the joys of living further south.

Funny but true story. Our (at the time) sons who were 5 and 3 had not really been old enough when we moved from WI to remember the snow we used to always have there. Our oldest remembered it but in the time since we had moved we had only had a flurry or two, nothing of any note and rarely did it even stick to the ground.

WELL...we took them back over Christmas two years ago to WI and I had been talking about getting to play in the snow for a few weeks prior to our trip. Well, we get there and stop at a drug store to pick up the toothbrush that I forgot to pack...as we walk into the store the kids scream "SNOW" and point to a pile of white stuff in the corner of the entry way. NOPE, my kids didn't see snow, they had found a small pile of salt!! :lmao:

When we told my family about that they threatened to take our children away and give them a "real life". I guess living in the south and having your kids confuse salt with snow is considered a form of child abuse "up there". :rotfl2: :rotfl:

It is sure is. Thats cool. I couldn't live with all the snow. We have visited his parents there in late november and I don't care for those winters.

Paige I sure do hope you get to feeling better!! If you do stay home tomorrow make sure you come out and play! ;) I will be busy teaching in the morning..but I will pop on around lunch to see if you made it.

FEEL BETTER!! Between you and Bonnie I am gonna need a new stash of this stuff pretty soon... :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

However, all things considered? I would rather share it with you both then most anyone else! SO...use it to get better. That's an order. *given in a tone full of respect since you ARE my elder* ;)

 JAYCNS you mean your kids NEVER made a snowman....For shame.
I love playing in the snow and would miss it. Yeah right. :sunny:
