No I haven't. I've been in September once before kids. Well I was actually pregnant with my first. I loved the fact that you could walk on rides but it was so hot my ankles swelled.

We usually go in February. We get Mardi Gras off here. It is usually the best time to go. Not very crowded and the weather is nice. This year is falls the same week as Presidents Week. So, that's why we are going for Thanksgiving. With one in High School taking her out of school is just not possible.

Some friends and I were laughing at the different school breaks around the country..............you all take Mardi Gras week, where I grew up, opening week of deer season we were out............................

Sorry, it doesn't fall nicely for you this year. We have always had lots of walk-on rides..........we only go in summer and at Spring Break, and once the week before Christmas...............we do the early touring, take a nap, close the parks strategy. We usually wait no longer than 20 min for anything, but we had to wait for Crush last time..................

I've been the week between Christmas and New Years once. That was way back when they only had MK and EPCOT. I didn't find it all that crowded. Now they say it's the worst week to go.

I guess because Mardi Gras is in February do don't actually get a spring break. We get the Friday and Monday of Easter off, but that's it.

We do too, because for some reason our district doesn't like to take Spring break at Easter..........except we only get the Monday, we don't usually get Good Friday.........drives some of the teachers batty.................

Do you like to camp? Yesterday I told dh, "See? Wouldn't it be nice if we were doing this at WDW and we could go to the parks now?" He said no.........I think I'm married to Grumpy sometimes...........................

I did as a kid. Not really my cup of tea anymore. I did camp at Fort Wilderness once. If you call this camping. We rented a Motor Home and drove down. Stayed at FW for a week. I was pleasantly surprised how nice and how much they have to do at Fort Wilderness. You really could spend a whole day there.

I did as a kid. Not really my cup of tea anymore. I did camp at Fort Wilderness once. If you call this camping. We rented a Motor Home and drove down. Stayed at FW for a week. I was pleasantly surprised how nice and how much they have to do at Fort Wilderness. You really could spend a whole day there.

We took the kids swimming, hiking and fishing this weekend...............I wish I could enjoy it more, I did like them having fun. I just have a block in place when it comes to any country stuff........................

You are definitely not the only one who spends their free time here!!! I'll probably be on later this evening. We have to tend to the dogs, and ourselves and usually by 7 or 8 I'm back on. I hope you'll still be here...

She is so popular. I feel honored to have such a popular friend..........I never was one of the "in" crowd in high school!

On that other thread they said she had some training thing to do so was here early, but probably won't be back on until later.

I didn't realize how popular she was until recently when I started noticing threads that looked interesting to me, and she had already posted! I didn't post on some of them 'cause I didn't want her to think I was stalking her!

Everyone here has been so great in welcoming me...for the first time (since I signed up) I feel like I'm a part of the group...and it's a nice feeling!

I actually count my life as beginning in college................I try not to think of or be around anything that reminds me of before then..............as in my camping post.........

I think you're ultra-cool D2, and the best thing is you are on here late like me, Jay, Steph and Kim.....................except Jay, Steph and Kim always flake out and go to bed..............like sleep is a good use of your time or something..........
