I'm going to go to a clinic this week (I don't have insurance right now)..

What did your dad go through?
When I was 3 or 4 my Dad's ulcer perforated and was bleeding. They got him stable in the hospital and had to have 1/2 of his stomach removed. I remember it so well, my dad is a preacher and back then we were ages 10, 4, and my sister was 1 1/2. We lived in the mountains of VA, with dad preaching in a small church. They sent Dad to the hospital in Charlottesville (at UVA), mom had to stay with us, because we had no family near by, so dad went by himself. I remember him being gone a long time (at that age it seemed like a year) and I don't really know how long it was. But I don't think that they do that anymore, I think they try to treat the ulcer not remove it.

Holy cow!! :scared1: That is scary. I sure hope they don't do that these days!

Good to hear no throwing up Bonnie! So are you taking tomorrow off to go to the Dr?

Yes, I sub for this teacher alot. She always calls me. Her TA has left and she has a new one this year. Her old one got a teaching job.

That's great, Mary!

Kim, I'm not taking tomorrow off. I first have to call around to the clinics and find one near me. And hopefully I'll be able to just go in after work one day. I took 2 days off work last week, so I shouldn't do it this week.

It's almost time for Desperate Housewifes so I am leaving. Everyone have a good day tomorrow!

But hopefully, I can get a day at home this week. I have to call WL and reserve a sleigh ride for the family while we are there in December. We are hoping to take a picture and use it as our Christmas card photo this year. Then I have to order birthday cakes for DDs for our trip too. Taylor the oldest will actually turn 10 while we are there, so we have to have a cake for her. Emily decided to not have a party this year so that she can celebrate her birthday at Disney too. So we decided to order her a cake and let her have a birthday too but on a different day. Then I have to check on our reservations and maybe see when our documents are coming in.

Wow! This is going to be an exciting trip for your family!! That's wonderful! I think the WL sleigh ride sounds like a good time. Once we went to WDW in November and the Christmas decorations were being put up. Our favorites were the Grand Floridian and Wilderness Lodge!

I am watching a show on the Duggars. These people have 16 children, I can't imagine traveling with that many children. I'm dizzy thinking about it.

They are taking them all to Disneyland. Its on TLC. This is a family who has been on TV several times in the past few years as having 14, then 15 and finally 16 kids. They homeschool everyone and have no debt. Quite an incredible family.
