I will be very honest, I have jumped into different Threads but sometimes (well lots of times) I feel like I am intruding...and my infrequent posts do not get acknowledge so I just leave that Thread....

You know it is just sooo amazing how many Threads and FORUMS there are here...for instance I have never even posted I don't think on the Budget Forum, occaisonally on DCL, but MOSTLY on the CB!!!

I found the DIS looking for trip tips..........found the trip reports board, then theme parks and strategies, resorts and restaurants..............it was a LONG time before I found the CB, and I didn't really consider myself to have FRIENDS on the boards until this thread. And I tell ya, I couldn't have lived without these guys the last month!

Me too! I wasn't very popular in high school, and I trully was the weird girl from Virginia who talked funny and wore weird clothes in Jr. High. We had just moved from Virginia to Long Island NY and the kids were not very accepting of things that were strange. Tough times for me, so I got tough skin in public, and came home crying. So, friends were not always easy for me. I guess that's why I was a good student, my books weren't ugly to me.

Thank you! I came on these boards looking for tips, we go to Disney in Dec. and I stumbled on this thread and Bonnie just welcomed me. Then I met Jay and Paige at night and the rest is history.

Jay is in Disney World right now Kar...........wait 'til you meet her, she's fantastical!

She leaves on a cruise Saturday.........going to was it Cozumel?.........anyway, then she goes BACK to WDW for a few more days. She blows through here sometimes when she has a moment.

A 3 week trip...........isn't that great? I think it's their first vacation in a REALLY long time.........she's got 3 great little boys..............

Ok guys, OT: How much are DD's braces going to cost me? I have no clue what I am looking at, and I know she needs them. I am really nervous to go to this appt. tomorrow.

Ok guys, OT: How much are DD's braces going to cost me? I have no clue what I am looking at, and I know she needs them. I am really nervous to go to this appt. tomorrow.

EEK...Oldest DS had braces...like 10 years ago and I believe it was $1500 for just the tops..that is all he needed. I had a payment book like you do with a car loan. The ONE rate covered everything from soup to nuts...the entire time DS went to the Ortho!

Well, not Christmas, but Christmas time. We leave on Dec. 2nd and come home on the 9th. My DDs have never been this is their first trip. They are sooooooooooo excited. DH and I went once while we were dating and then we went again on our honeymoon.

There was a thread about that a while back, and they were saying like 5K. 150-200 per month. I was supposed to take Nick, but we want to wait until next year when we aren't paying daycare (Luke will be in public K).

AWESOME!!! Where will you all stay?

We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge, we have an Inner Courtyard View, with a special request for Bunk Beds. DD #2 has epilepsy and has had seizures in her sleep, so it is dangerous to have her sleep with DD #1, so we requested bunk beds for her safety. We have documentation, so we should get it. We went thru special request office for the bunk beds.

I dunno.............maybe for the 2nd half of the trip?
