The Mad Chatters thread Part 3

She has a PT, Home Health Aide and Nurse come to her house. She is not allowed to put weight on either leg at all................I just took some time off and was up there last weekend and early this week cleaning house and cooking and freezing for the. Dad is trying to run the business alone (he had a stroke about 20 years ago and is disabled, too) and my 90 year old blind diabetic Grandmother is there trying to help. It's a real mess and has me a bit of a basket case. They live 250 miles away from me..........

Tonight, I am trying to keep my mind off it, last night I needed to talk, tonight I need to shut up...............hope you understand...........

ABSOLUTELY!!! But I will keep them all in my prayers!!

PAIGE: My MIL and her boyfriend (75yo) travel every winter to Harlington, TX!!! Are you near that area? We have never been but I think it is near Brownsville. They drive all that way at their age from CT!

That's what we call DEEP South..............I am in North Central.......Fort Worth. I went there though to see a reading program in Alamo. Great program, we adopted it middle of last year and have had a lot of success with it.

Wow! That's impressive. I hope I have that kind of stamina and energy when I am that age, because I don't have it now. Maybe after my kids are older I'll have energy.

YEs, they mention taking all that visit them from the East to see the Alamo!! One of these years we will head to Texas to visit them.
I will do ANYTHING to get out of the winters we have here in the Northeast...

My mom is 69 and my dad 72, and funny, but they just don't seem that old to me. Dad travels to Mexico a lot, in his little old truck, and as far south as Guatemala...............

OK..get this they drive a CAMPER TRAILER and they sleep in RV places all along the way. They are so ambitious. They will drive in one day to Maine to LL Bean and return back to their home in CT in one day!!! They are always going someplace.

Well, THE Alamo is in San Antonio, which is not as far South as that. This was a town and school district called Alamo. We go to San Antonio to see the Alamo, Riverwalk and Sea World on the years we don't go to Disney.

I wanted to tell you both that I was on another Thread tonight and Bonnie PM'ed me and ask me to check out this Thread and that I would love it and MAN SHE IS JUST SO RIGHT!!!

She is such a sweetie!!! You guys are as awesome as she said you would all be!!!

Hey I have an LL Bean in my neighborhood too, and I didn't even leave town. We have an awesome Outlet Center almost right across the street from me, and we have an LL Bean Outlet store there. They make the best backpacks and the kids always get a new one there every year for school, but this year they openned The Children's Place Outlet and the kids got all their school stuff there this year.

Yes, we have some great conversations here. I don't go to anyother boards hardly anymore. I just check in here and see who is on, because someone is always checking in and chatting.

Well, I was on another thread and they were inquiring about CLIQUES and I said I have never been in a CLIQUE and would they all be my friends...when Bonnie PM'ed me about FRIENDS and the rest is HISTORY!!!

You know it is just sooo amazing how many Threads and FORUMS there are here...for instance I have never even posted I don't think on the Budget Forum, occaisonally on DCL, but MOSTLY on the CB!!!
