Listen guys, I just did Luke's homework with him, and now Nick wants a game of chess. I'm going to go do that, but I will be back. I hope you guys stick around a bit!

Nope, no hour counting going on yet. I've had such a busy day/night that I haven't had the chance. Also, I am feeling a tad bit under the weather (just cramps...but ICK...they are no fun).

What sort of creature chose your home as a final resting place?

My in-laws had a family of squirrels in their attic last year...noisey little critters!!

Well it is small, kind of like the size of a gerbil. I told DH if it was a mouse, it was a big one. I'm not sure what it was. I'm making DH deal with disposal of it, I'm not touching it. I went running down the steps gagging and yelling ewwwwwwww!!!!!!!!! I call DH at work and said come home now. He just laughed at me.

Luke's homework was to trace his name twice and write it 3 times.

Nick beat me at chess. We ended up with just our kings, but he had a pawn, and despite my best efforts, managed to get it queened. I had to acquiesce.

Then again....I would have ran, yelled, called dh (well, my blood stopping scream would have alerted the entire city), and then promptly fainted...so yeah, I am laughing...but more in a nervous, "thank goodness it was not me" kind of way.

Well, sure, understandable. I hated to leave when I knew you were on, but sometimes you just gotta drop what you're doing and be a mom...........my son was upset, as he had "no fun all day".........which actually meant his friends were too busy to play football after dinner.

Me too. Lucas is in bed already, and Nick in the shower. I told him I'll come read him a chapter in a bit, so I'll have to knock off out of here early tonight. Every time I think I don't want to do something with him, I think of how much longer will he want me to. That's a pretty good motivator..........with my littlest, there's plenty of time, but I just love 4 year olds.......they were my first students, and my favorite age still.
