No, Denise, no money.........no going out. We wanted to do the State Fair this weekend too..........oh, well, my kids have never been, so they don't know what they're missing, just dh and I do! But it's all good..........no worries.

We ARE going over to a friend's tomorrow for her stepgrandson's bday celebration. I gotta find some gas money...............but that's all we need for that. I always keep extra little gifts around for last-minute birthday invites!

I'll go shopping in my closet later on...............

I understand where you're coming from. We do the same thing with gifts! We buy some ahead of time- makes it nice, huh? How is your mother?

Mom seemed in great spirits when I called earlier. I had to get the insurance number........still haven't taken care of that. They said I do need to talk to the other gal's insurance people for an injury claim. They said they only handle the medical bills up to 5,000 and the other insurance will handle the injury compensation. So maybe son will have a little something for ruining his trip to Grandma's house and his last week of summer vacation.

Oh trust me, I agree 100%. It didn't even come to me to write a TR about our Disney cruise. That was in June. I have forgotten all of the little things by now.

All I did was laundry. Hey I look at it like this. It's Friday afternoon now so I consider it the start of the weekend. Let the fun begin . Monday will be my clean the house from top to bottom day.

Aww! Thanks, Tricia! It's a difficult thing to do each morning. I have a hard time picking topics. It takes me forever to think of them. I'm not as creative as her, I suppose. Tomorrow is my last poll day; she'll take over again on Sunday, October 1st. Do you ladies have any suggestions for my last daily poll? They would be greatly appriciated!

You know what? Now she can sit up in the wheelchair more and handle some of the business paperwork. That and finding out that medicare would handle the rest of the bills that the two insurances won't (glad to see that money they take from my check every month really does help people), has really helped her out.

Also, I think she tries to be more cheerful when I call after the fiasco with the call to the doc I made. But, it does seem to work a bit........dad says she's more cheerful after I call.................

The rough thing is, I brought a notebook with me and up until MIL passed, I had been writing a really funny report, but afterwords I couldn't bring myself to pick it back up.

There were a ton of little angel moments that I know I'm forgetting.

Denise has Slo done anything with the movies. Such as do you go to the show. Rent them from video store, wait to see them on HBO, member of video club, etc. Just a thought.
