One of the things that The Horned King can't stand are all of the meetings. Thursday they had a meet the teacher night and a bunch of parent stold him how excited their kids were to have a real art teacher. one even told him her prayers had been answered by an angel. So that was awesome for him.

Hi everyone. I have received some devastating news. Yesterday a very good friend of mine, Brian, absolutely the most fabulous husband, dad, son, brother in the world died of a massive heart attack while vacationing in Italy with his beautiful wife. Their 3 daughters (2 in college,1 in high school) in horrible horrible pain. DW is still in Florence working hand in hand with the American Embassy to get Brian's body back home. This is just horrible. He was 52yo. He was so much the life of all our parties. My family is in shock. He died at 8pm Sunday, (2pm Sunday our time). I was on the phone from 10pm until 1am with friends last night. DW is returning home tomorrow without her DH. He will be held up in Rome for autopsy for a number of days and then held in Boston for more days. (Procedures, I guess). They were to spend one week in Italy and then today they were flying to CA for one more week. DW will now come home alone and await arrival of the body. She is devastated and needs to be with her 3 girls.
I am signing off. When I know more I will let you know. (I was away with the girls all weekend and arrived home to all this sad shocking news).
I am posting because I did not want you to think I was ignoring anyone.

Hug your families, just hug everyone. This is horrible. I have been crying so much.

DH lost his mom (51) while we were in WDW in January, so I know all about having family be apart in a time of need.

Thanks for asking! I'm still having a lot of stomach pain and started vomiting up a little blood. Although yesterday and today I did not throw up at all (probably cause I didn't eat much). But my tummy still hurts a lot.

School sucks. After 5 weeks I still have NO supplies that I haven't purchased myself, and even though my class was supposed to be maxed out at 24 kids....surprise! She enrolled ANOTHER one in my class. There are WAY too many kids in our room as it is. EVERYONE who works there is fed up and 2 gave their notice today. I know several more who are looking for another job.
