The Mad Chatters thread Part 2

The most important thing is to meet you all. I'm going in September this year (1 month to go!) hey if I can handle September I could probably handle August (I think-the past 3 days here have been murder!)

Hey Sarah,

Did your dh tell you I said hi? I thought that he was the dh of someone who posted here but I couldn't remember who (and I had a fear maybe I was making it up in my head and I would appear nuts). He stopped by the thread last night and was the only one up with me and my son's sleepover with SIX boys...it was a LONG night.

You girls may want to hold the cruise for a bit if you need a good laugh. I can't believe someone started a thread about her husband's "accident." Trail of tears (and poop). What will they think of next? :sad2:
I cannot find this thread...someone PM me...I have to see this!! :rotfl:

Hi ladies! So sorry, I cleaned out my PMs. Minty I got your email  . I love PMs and emails!

What did you guys have for dinner? We had roast/potatoes/carrots and rolls. It was lovely.

Oooohhh, I would really love to go in October. I get NO time off, but I may just have to take some. I'd have to pull a 7th grader and Kindergartener from school, too, but I would like to go to MNSSHP.

And, the groundwork to convince dh is done already, as I told him I wanted to do that in 2007 or 2008. It would give us time to recover from our Japan trip too.

That would work for me. We'll have to ask as everyone comes in and out. I think you and me are the only ones here right now. :teeth:

I know ALL of the keeping cool secrets after my August and June trips.

Plus by then I'll have the Disney Crocs to wear to the parks! :teeth:

DISNEY CROCS???? Please say it really is true...they now have Disney Crocs!!???????????

We had leftovers. Dh had a pork chop, barbecued chicken wing and baked potato (not left over). I had barbecued chicken breast and baked potato. DS1 had 2 enchiladas, pork chop, pbandj. DS2 had pbandj and scrambled eggs.

Yeah, Jay, I'm going to wipe 'em out when they hit the shelves!

October 2007? That would be perfect. Even if I get a teaching job for that year, I would take time off to do that. I would so much rather go when it is cooler and less expensive. Sarah, what do you think about that?

Yeah, maybe I could even get a CODE. I mean, it's pretty darn embarrassing to be a DISer and pay rack rate, but I only go at rack rate times!

My dinner was not quite so lovely...;) hot dogs, blueberries, carrot sticks and pretzels. :confused3 DH is out of town until tomorrow...so no cooking for me!!

The boys are just as happy with what I threw on the table and it gives me a bit of time to help plan the Mad Chatters meet! :):):)

October would be good for me...I could travel with or without family then and I could go to the Food and Wine Festival. I have always wanted to dine my way around the world showcase (minus the kids;)). Then again...Nov/December sounds mighty fine too!

If someone has an AP and rooms with someone else, both people can benefit from the AP rate! But I admit codes are better! Come on free dining year 3 in a row!

I'm thinking there's probably not going to be a single time that EVERYBODY can make. Maybe we should just pick a date and hope for the best.

I say October or November, or even the first week of December.

I vote for either October (MNSSHP and F&W fest) or between Thanksgiving and Christmas (supposedly very slow, and before the holiday rate kicks in-but the decorations are up!)

The latter is my FAVORITE time to go! (But NOT during winter vacation from school!)

Hey Mindy, dh has the same birthday as you!

Is it okay with you guys if you become my cousins? Because I want to tell my boss that it's a family reunion........I think that'll fly a bit better than "I want to go meet all these people I met online".
