I would love to be your cousin...everyone in my family doesn't understand why you would:
a. go to Disney World more than two (maybe three) times
b. talk to people on the internet
c. get almost as much joy out of planning a trip as "doing" the trip

So...now I at least have one other relative who understands!

I don't, but I work for a university. I don't get the summers off like these lucky ducks do, but I experience a summer lull in activity.

Oh, yeah, planning is the best part.........especially since I have TOTAL control during that phase..........actually carrying out the plans doesn't always go the same way.

WHY didn't I think of that!! Mommy should go to a resort (doesn't even have to be Disney) so they can have some speical male bonding times at 4:00 AM...hee hee hee


While I sleep so soundly that I ALMOST feel guilty about it!

As far as time of year, I really like any time September-December (avoiding all of the holiday times of course).

What grade does your dh want to teach?

I'm a public children's librarian so most of the summer is bad for me b/c of summer reading. If DH ever does start teaching vacations will be hard to come by...

He's certified to teach Art So he can do any grade, but he prefers High school.

Ha! I get chairs thrown at me too! But of course, then I have to have endless meetings about WHY John threw the chair, WHAT set him off, HOW can we avoid this in future, WHAT does poor Johnny need to make him feel better about himself so he doesn't throw any more chairs, and at least 3 meetings on how it is my fault, not Johnny's and certainly not the parents' that he threw the chair.

I'm not sure yet if family will be coming with me or if I'm going by myself. Have to talk to DH about it. I would like to bring the family. But even if I do, I still want to spend plenty of time with you girls!

Also as a librarian, I get to do all the fun stuff with the kids (crafts, games and such) and I have them for an hour or less, not 8 hours!

Most people that have romed with me say they forget I'm even there, cuz I'm so quiet and I barely move...but I probably won't come solo, I'll at least bring my mom...
