Thats it BonBon-we need to move down closer to the mouse!

I know!! If only I could have a winter home in FL, cause I sure wouldn't be able to handle the heat May - September! I'm a Nevada girl and I've seen some HEAT, but that humidity there is hard for me to take. And that was in May. I can't even imagine it during the summer.

Wow, you get to go to WDW a lot, Karen. I'm jealous!

No reason to be :sad2: Instead of doing one big vacation a year, we break it down into about 5 or 6 smaller ones. Yes, we do go a lot, but we are very fortunate to be able to. I have a terrific DH who is as much a fanatic as I am.

Very uncomfortable. I'm originally from NY. I've been here 20 years and my blood has thinned. I'm still not used to it and I suffffffffffeeeeerrrrrr!

That's great!

My DH likes it, but not nearly as much as me! He didn't go to Disneyland a lot as a kid, even though he grew up in Southern Calif. Disneyland was my yearly vacation growing up (a week doing all the parks in the area). It's always been a big part of my life. I want it to be a big part of my kids' lives as well.

I didn't know you were from NY originally. Wow, that's quite a change for you!

Quite. Believe it or not, I'm still trying to get used to it. Buying stuff gets frustrating and I miss NY nightlife and restaurants. I miss NY.

When you get a chance, you'll have to post some pics from your trip!

Bad Karen. I didn't take any this trip.

So what was happening at the boardwalk to make such noise? What do they do out there?

Never had 9 dragons or Cape May........what'd ya eat at them?

LOVE Le Cellier, it's one of our must-dos.........we did it twice last trip!

I would like to stay at the AKL. My kids did one of the kid activities there last trip while we waited for our Boma table. We always go see the animals after and then sit around the fire pit.

I would love a cruise too, but it will have to wait a few years. This year's tax return is already slated.............

Going to pick up the boys, but I'll be back soon.........oldest one called while ago: "Mom?" (No, the other lady that lives here and answers the phone) "Yes, son." "Could you bring a towel when you come?" "A towel?" "Yeah, and um, mom?" "Yes, son." "Am I allowed to have a water balloon fight?" :rotfl: :rotfl:

Don't you know I have to live vicariously through you? :teeth: Well, then I guess the picture-taking will have to be left up to Minty.

Noise comes from the Boardwalk. Late night activities, arcade, ESPN Club, Jelly Rolls which is a piano bar. A lot of teens hang out. Young adults (the one beer and smashed) crowd. There's another dance club and that's where all the boardwalk eateries are. Just ongoing noise, which is great, if that's what you like. We have fun there, and prefer to go back to the other side where you have the BC/YC quiet. We old folks need our rest. :teeth:

Nine Dragons has this Canton Pepper dish. Beef melts in your mouth. Savory brown sauce and lots of crisp veggies.

Cape May is a buffet, so if you like clams, mussels, prime rib, spare ribs, tons of vegetables/salads, chicken, etc. plus yummy desserts -- this is the place.

Karen, I noticed there was a meanie on your thread slayer's thread. We said stuff to him so hopefully he won't come back.

Thanks! Holy cow, that's a big Stitch!

Can you make the pics bigger?

I know how to make them smaller, but I can't seem to make them bigger. Here's another one.

Not to worry! I promise I'll take lots of pictures. You can live vicariously through me anytime! :goodvibes :thumbsup2 :rotfl:

I'm back but I have to leave again in a minute. DS said they were going to have a DJ, a bounce house and a water balloon fight, but it was only to last 30 minutes..............

Then when I got home, he called to ask if he could go swimming at another kids' house. He's been there before, but I can't remember how exactly to get there, so I told him to put someone on the phone to give us directions.

The lady said hello and I said "He says he's going swimming?" She sort of hemmed and hawed and then asked how he was getting there. She said he would need a ride and am I coming to get him. I said he told me they said I should come at 9:30. She said, "Well, they can only swim until 10:30". I said, "okay." She said, "Well, what do you need?" I said, "Well, he said someone could give me directions" she said, "Well, we're going over there now and we don't have a ride for him". I just paused, not knowing what to say, and then said "Okay, thank you" and she said, "Well, what do you want?" I said, "Um, could you please give the phone back to him?"

He came on and I just told him I'll be there to pick him up at 9:30, that it doesn't sound as if she expects him to go. He said she offered to all the kids, but does it sound to you as if she wants him to go?

Guess I'll see what's going on when I get there. Awfully late for a swim party anyway.
