The Mad Chatters thread Part 2

I decided not to make my chicken enchiladas. It's too stinkin' hot! When I got home, I couldn't cool down, so I told the girls to make themselves a hotdog and macaroni salad. I don't know what Brent and I will have later. Maybe the same thing. He's working late tonight.

How was dinner for you guys?

We had turkey with chicken pasta (DD made that), green beans, and mashed potatos. Yum!

Dh's beef enchiladas were great, and we had my choc. chip cookies I made last night after dinner. We brought my neighbor's son back with us when I picked up the boys. Dh put 3 enchiladas on his plate..........I told him the kid might not eat like ours do, and sure enough, he only wanted one.

Monday, Bonnie, they'll fix it Monday...............even though I'll be sore after, I am ready!

Bonnie, I taught Pre-K for 9 years and I miss it. It's a great age/grade. Couldn't they add back in their K though if they barely cancelled it? Just call the parents back? I guess you're not in the position to ask, really.

I hope it works out well. Do they pick up at area schools, so your daughter could be brought over in the afternoons?

Thank goodness I am networking again. What a day!!! New system wiped out my Favorites and I had to re-input them manually.

All this before I have to take the kids for registration tomorrow and start work on Thursday.

I get home about 2:45. So I have time between grading papers and making dinner. After the 21st I'll be taking online courses for myself, but I still plan on being on the Disboards. I am addicted.

I started a thread about Sunscreen. Feel free to post on it. I think it's of the first page, now.

Guess what?! Bad news. Our AC just went out. DH called 2 different AC people and no call back yet. It is SO HOT in here! Luckily, we have a portible AC, so we hooked that up in our room and the kids can sleep on the floor in our room. We could use some PD that they call back!

I know, me too! We are so hot. I never realized how bad it was until now. Dead of summer. It won't be too much longer for me on here, since the air's not in here!
