Hey Bonnie.

I put the bug in their heads about doing Business and I think they are interested. I know they want to keep me in Language Arts, but they can see that this will be a better move for me until I finish school. I'll miss my kids, but I will still have some of them in Business. I would have 2 6th grade classes, 2 7th and 1 8th.

Nope, I'm not ready. I'm dreading it. I went to a teacher store here and it sucked. It was small and unorganized. I hope they have a better one. In Vegas we had Learning is Fun and that place was great. They had a seperate section for preschool and Kindergarten and things were easy to find.

We have a chain called The Learning Station and it is enormous. Lots of fun stuff. What about the internet? Can you get into a teacher's site and see if they have any reasonable goodies. I'm trying to remember what I had when I subbed in those grades. I do remember we ordered a lot of teaching tools.

Yeah, ordering online is a good idea. I'll definitely be ordering stuff from Frog Street Press. I LOVE their stuff and my Kindergartners loved the characters. Last summer I went to the Frog Street Press teachers conferences in Dallas. It was SOOOO much fun. I didn't know a soul (DH went with me, but not to the conference classes), but you know how teachers are. I met a lot of people and had a blast.

I'll have to check and see if we have any Learning Stations around here. Thanks!

Yes people can be mean. But I remember what DreamFlight99 told me DreamFlight99 told me not to let the rude people bring me down and she told me to have fun in life no matter what

we had chicken marsala for dinner. Me and DBF cooked together using a recipe from Better Homes and Gardens. It turned out pretty tasty
