It's in Kenova, WV - down the road from me. It's on the Kentucky, Ohio, WV border. Just some unimportant info: the owner of the house is actually the mayor of the town. Just thought that was interesting.

Hey Bonnie-- how was the classroom party? The kids looked adorable! Riley had a great time. We actually trick-or-treated in your neck of the woods (Westridge). Reece went as Super Mario, and his BF who lives down that way was Luigi.

What did everyone else's kids go as???

DS14 did not trick n' treat NOR did he stay at home with us this year. He went to a buddy's house for a party at which girls (probably girls with cuties) were in attendance. DS12 went as Mickey Mouse. DS9 went as a rapper. DS6 went as Darth Vader. (For those that read both Mixed Nuts and this thread, yes, I got the costume choices for my DS9 and DS6 mixed up earlier today.)

Howdy, Chatters!

Yesterday was a crazy stressful day (all holidays are for teachers!) and I'm glad it's over! The kids had a great time though, and that's what matters! My girls had fun trick or treating, and we went to a halloween party across the street (they are who we went trick or treating with). It was pretty fun! WAAAAY too much candy around our house now though!

Today is Heather's 14th birthday so we are going to our old standby, Melting Pot tonight at 7:00. I love that place, but I don't enjoy driving clear to Arlington to get there!

Did I mention that I did go to the orthopedic Dr. and I have some torn cartilidge in my left knee. I have to get an MRI to see if I need surgery. I sure hope not! I'm afeered of that kind of thing.

EVERYONE: I hope you all had a great Halloween. We did. The boys went as Jack Sparrow (ds11), Sorcerer Mickey (ds8) and Stitch (ds6). We went to a party at our friend's house (an annual tradition) and then the dads took the kids out trick-or-treating in honor of my knocked up self not having to hoof it. Us moms stayed in and handed out candy. We had a great night.

Hi Rob the Slob! How was your Halloween?

It was good. I left the house with a cold beverage and no jacket on, ended the night with a hot beverage and a jacket on, didn't lose the kids, and saw plenty of cute moms along the way , so all was good.

ROB- Have these hags been treatin' ya proper?

Not too shabby! I'm still around. (Course that could all change now that Cheryl and Squiddy are back in town. )


Ok, busy work day today for the Robster but in 115 minutes (not that I'm counting), I'm going to be off to the dentist's office where the world's cutest dental hygienist (assuming that none of the Chatters are dental hygienists when I make that judgement) is going to clean my teeth. Unfortunately, then I am going to be back to work probably for the entire evening.
