Sorry to miss the meet last night chicks! Most of you were gone when I finally showed up. We were having family issues and I was playing negotiator. Gotta love that! Really looking forward to spending 9 days at Disney with a fighting family. ALTHOUGH, I am sure no matter how bad it gets it won't come close to last year's trip with the MIL.

Ok, on to my personal fun. My secret chatter was Rella and she rocked my socks!

#1 Adorable card with a fabulous squid on it and adorable poem inside.

#2 Tons of scrapbook items including Disney stickers, soccer stickers, friendship stickers and a Disney Memories scrapbook header. The squidlette squealed in delight over these items Rella - very timely!

#3 A coffee mug with my main man Capt'n Jack on it. Ya'll should know how fond I am of captains! Jack is absolutely hot and giving me the eye from my cup right now. Guess where my lips are!!!

#4 The cutest Mickey shirt. It is yellow and has been distressed to look like it is old and worn and well loved. It is already well loved and packed in the suitcase for Disney. Another item that was popular with the squidlette, but much to large for her tiny person, so it is all mine, mine, mine!

I will take a picture of all of my goodies this evening and post it - so long as there are no more family fights with different members threatening to boycott the Disney trip. Honestly - drama, drama, drama!

Hi Chatters! Last night was fun, chatting with everyone at once again! Even though SOME people were late.

I'm on my lunch hour, at the library again, cause I was too lazy to drive home. So I have no MSN right now...sorry. Is anyone around for a chat?

Squid, sorry I bailed on you at lunchtime, but I had no choice! The library's server was down! Everyone was murmuring. I don't know what kind of two bit operation they're running there.

Warning....vent ahead. If you do not want to hear it, skip over this part: I really needed a manicure, so after work I went to a walk-in nail place that I have not been to before, but that is close to my house. Big mistake. They barely speak any english and the chick could NOT understand me, and she did a craptastic job! I mean, I have learned not to expect perfection at the walk-in places, but this was BAD. I also got a lip and eyebrow wax. The eyebrows look all right, but the lip was was not quite successful. She forgot three of the hairs!! Good thing they are blond!

I just returned from a Girl Scout meeting for Ainslee...it was the parent meeting, so it was the very first one, and we met at a McDonald's. Ains had a great time. We have some cool chicks in our group, and I love the leaders I even knew some people, and that doesn't happen too often for me, seeing as I'm still kinda new around here! I've already found a car pool to the meetings!

Well, we made it safe and sound, although we had some major storms chasing us the entire way. We managed to stay 50 miles or so ahead of them, so by the time it rained, we were safely inside mom's. So woo hoo! We are off to get a pic with all of the grandkids made this afternoon, but other than that, we are just vegging and visiting. And NO MIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think I might just have to hang out with the Cap'n for a bit to celebrate my freedom. I hope you are all well, and I'll try to check back in later.

I'm going to get my hair done today, hopefully tomorrow I can fit a pedicure in before work. If not, I'll just get it done up there on Monday or Tuesday.
