Hi guys.

I've been dealing with a very sad situation for the last few days. One of my oldest and dearest friend's Dad was killed in a car accident on Wed. night. He was such a sweet man. Wendy, understandably, is not doing too well. Sorry I missed out on the Chatters exchange thing and everything. Bonnie, sorry I missed your call but I haven't really been home much for the last 2 days. I'll be back around soon.

Hi Chatters! Sorry to be gone all weekend, but we had a soccer tournament in Kentucky. What beautiful weather - it was great for soccer. Too bad we were in Kentucky though - those Kentuckians are a bunch of rednecks... My poor little squidlette came back with a black eye. Good thing I don't have any friends who live in Kentucky!

Good news!! I'm nice now!!


I had a big fat chat with one of the parents at school. I was worried she'd be all offended when I told her that her child was struggling in my class. But she was super nice and helpful, which I really appreciate.

Then I got home and saw my DD10's scores for the standardized Language Arts testing they did. She scored really nigh in reading and in writing she got a PERFECT score! My daughter rocks!!

I would love to chat with you hags, but it looks like no one is a round. More's the pity. My good mood may not last too long....

Still in possession of 2 sucky computers. Still sitting at the kiddie desk to try to keep up here!

Another woman and I backed into each other on Friday. No damage to my Volvo. 2 little dents in her Denali. She asked me who's fault I thought it was. I said 50/50 since we were each 1/2 way out of our parking spaces. She agreed. Today you'd have thought I pulled out at lightening speed and purposefully rammed in the side of her car. *** is wrong with people?

I've been on the east coast the last few days. We have been having some terrible storms. But, the good thing is that there is plenty of really cool seaweed washed up I can send for my chatter exchange!! If they are lucky, they may find a diamond or two stuck in all that seaweed!

Does that happen very often that you find diamonds in the seaweed? I have seen a lot of seaweed in my days and never found a diamond. My how lucky you must be! Either that or you have a really good batch of seaweed - if that's the case don't be stingy, share with the rest of the class!
