They have a big parade in Manhatten today.
But we had a ice storm last night so they are trying to keep the streets clear.

I feel sorry for the marchers. They'll be so cold.

A parade sounds like fun. They have some in New Orleans today but not on my side of the lake.

How successful was your shopping the other day?

My goal was to have the SUV loaded down and the mission was a success. I did have two teenagers with me so that helped. Want to know what I got for myself? ...........................Nothing. I can't shop for me with the kids. I'd rather go by myself when they are in school.

Tell me about it. It's was dark and I still got up early.

One advantage is that everyone else is still asleep, so it's nice and quiet.
All I have is he cat and dog chasing each other.

Well I cant sleep much past @730 these daysbut usually I just crash on the couch..this morning its the DIS!!! Afterall I have a cruise to plan...


Jo- dont my jewels look nice Jay stole them and then polished them for me..

That's funny. My dog is actually still sleeping. DH just went for a jog and the kids are sleeping. It's my favorite time of the day. DISing with hot coffee in hand.

What did the kids get?

Well we went to this mall (over an hour away) just because they have an Abercrombie Kids store. My DD10 is a big fan. She got a few things there, a really cute suitcase from one of the little carts lime green with pink polka dots some junk from Claire's and a pair on sunglasses. She needs to be styling at Disney with that suitcase.

Teenager hit all the usually places, Abercrombie, American Eagle, Hollister. Bought a little makeup.....the usual.

My DS got a game at KB Toys for being a trooper and not complaining with all the girls trying on SO much stuff. Oh, and some plaid shorts that he's so proud of. Plaid shorts on boys are really big around here.

I have to agree I love the quiet mornings in my house...DH still sleeping shhh..2 cats asleep...1 large dog chewing LOUDLY on a bone SSSSHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! DH is sleeping !!!

Now that we don't have. The nearest one is over three hours away in Alabama. I bought the one like you have for our Disney trip there. If they have a closer one I'd be in trouble.

Not too bad really. The teenager had lots of babysitting money with her. I only bought her a shirt and a gift for a party she's going to tonight.

My Middle DD is having a birthday next month and she wanted to pick out her own stuff from Abercrombie. I actually bought some things for my mom and sister to give her. So that means money coming back to me.

We did have a fun day so it's all good.

I just became addicted to Coach the last few months.

But the outlet store is about 2 hours away.

Do you have any Coach bags? I only have the sling one. It's way to small for everyday use. Worked out great at Disney though.
