I understand. Dh and I were just talking how our 13 1/2 yr. old will be gone before you know it, and there's so much we still want to do. Why does it go so fast?

I know it...where has all the time gone? I miss it when they were all 8, 6, & 4. Good times back then.

our oldest. he had strep B

Just a lot of things circling around in this brain. Which is not really different from other days.

We did get our insurance check from the car wreck dh was in. (Our car was totaled) So I guess, we need to go car shopping.

Plus, earlier when I logged off, I just wasn't "feeling the dis". Have you ever done that? I thought I'd give it one more shot tonight.

me too (even after all of this teen crap I have had to put up with him).

It was very scary. DW only got to hold him for about 3 sec after the c-section and they sent him off to the NICU. It was hard, and we were so young.

I am sure we did.

The party was ok. My aunt came and she was on a tight timeline and could only stay for 1 1/2 hours. My Mom & her husband came and they stayed in the driveway (RV) and my MIL is still here. But he had a good day and that's what it was about!

I was a young mommy too. Got married young-18, had dd when I was 20.... you do the math.

I had a patient the other day who was 16, and had a C-Section (luckily the baby was ok), but she seemed like such a baby herself. I just wanted to wrap my arms around her.

I was 24 and DW was 1 month shy of her 24th bday.

Did you have any other family in the military. My grandfathers were, but my dad wasn't he has a heart condition. Dh wanted to go, but his parents said "Absolutely not" They told him that a lot, but that's a whole other story.

hadn't even been out for a year. But I had a pretty good job that had great insurance. I think the only think I paid for was the meals that I ate with DW.
