I'm pretty good today. The snow is melting and we are in the 40's - it feels like a heat wave.

I saw you guys were talking about Sylvan last night.

We sent DD(Briana) there years ago...she did amazing in the program but it never tranferred to school. She struggled almost all the way thru and is still struggling in college.

DS15 (Matt) was diagnosed as ADHD in Oct and also has a math disorder. so to say he is struggling would be an understatement.

Thank goodness for DS13 (Nick) he sails thru everything. He has to study but he will put in the time and effort needed and is rewarded in his grades.

I'm just grateful I got one easy one...otherwise I would think it was all MY fault...and I know that can't be

Glad things are working out for your kids.

My brain is definitely turning off again. Every time I increase this topomax dosage this happens, and I have one more increase next week. I do hope everything levels off after that.

I almost went the Sylvan route, but man it was expensive! I was lucky in that last year, they put DD in a math lab class to give her extra help. That seems to have worked really well. She still gets mostly C's in math, but compared to the F's she was getting at one time, I'll take a C any day.
