So any plans for the weekend DL?

I'll be working tomorrow. Sunday is my nephew's birthday party and I'll be going to that with my DD and DH. I'm so excited because my SIL makes the BEST cakes! She even made our wedding cake. Oh yum yum! I can't wait....What about you?

I'll be doing nothing. We are supposed to get more snow tonight. Can you believe I haven't left my house in over a week? We got tons of ice, and I have this tiny little phobia about driving on ice and snow. School has been closed, so I haven't been forced to drive on it, so here I sit. For the 7th day.

OK, that is my last whine about it. Promise!

I wish making cakes was one of my talents. My mom used to make our birthday cakes, and she was good! I don't have any artistic talent in me whatsoever.

My DD is turning 13 Tues.! No more little ones for me. All of my babies will be grown or teenagers then. I feel old!

She hasn't decided on what kind of party she wants yet. I need to get that taken care of. Your nephews birthday reminded me.

What's her favorite kind of cake to get? I used to love getting carrot cake on my birthday, but for the last few years I've been getting Italian rum. I LOVE chocolate too, but DH always gets that.

She likes the standard white cake with white icing from the bakery. She is having a delimma this year because she really wants a cutesy cake with characters, but she thinks she might be too old.

Pretty good. I worked this morning then had lunch with my mom, came home and cleaned. I still have but at least everything else is clean
