its stephie! Good morning!

they are talking some crazy weather up here in the north for the first time since early December. Its supposed to do the wintry mix thing all day. Yuk! And I thought I would get off easy this year!

Milwaukee was fun. We drank free beer at Miller and went to the historic 3rd ward but not too much outside walking because it was coooold! we had lunch at this Jewish deli that has some AWESOME corned beer sandwiches! Around dinnertime we stopped by this brewpub (think we're into beer?) and found out there was a chili cook off going on down the street so we popped over and got to try tons of samples of some great chili! It was cool! and of course we bought some cheese

My back still hurts. I had to take Tylenol PM last night so that I could sleep. I got caught up on TV though, cleaned out the Tivo!

I'm so sorry to hear that! hope it gets all better soon. But its cool that you can finally relax and watch a little TV. Why is it that we don't get to do this until we can't do much else? One of the mysteries of life I suppose

Mindy I am glad you had a good time.

Bonnie when I have been without a heating pad before, I used a towel just out of the dryer. Folded up it will retain heat for a bit. Then I made DH bring me fresh ones every so often. I had a kidney infection and thought I was going to die! He finally went and bought me a heating pad though cause he got sick of messing with me.

Good idea, Steph! I don't know why we don't just buy one. They aren't all that expensive!

Sounds like everyone is having winter storms except my neck of the woods. Not a single snow flurry yet this year.
