How is everyone?? I am so tired. Not really sure if it is jet lag or just trip exhaustion....you know that whole..."I need a vacation from my vacation"...

We got home today at 3pm. How is everyone? What did I miss? Fill me in!!!

Let's see, I got back at 1 am yesterday.

Dh slept a LOT there just like at home. Kind of hit me that he really is sick and not just overworked or stressed.

But then we went to the French Quarter and had a carriage ride. And had crawfish ettouffee. And went shopping and antiquing. Then back to brother's house and dh was asleep again.

A carriage ride sounds nice, I have always wanted to do that .

Ahhh...thanks NIC NIC!! We had a fabulous time. We took about 600 pics. Lots are doubles of the same thing (you know how you tend to snap a shot 2x). Will be going through them....and aaah the laundry. So much to do. And the mail to go through...

I MISS YOU GUYS SO MUCH, I just had to pop on here to see how you all are doing!!

I had meetings today. Kids come tomorrow.

NYE we went to a bonfire. Crazy. They burned the Christmas trees in a square and set off fireworks in the streets all around it.

Later we went out to the Marigny. That place is wild. It was a good time. We came back early though. Dh said he was tired and could sleep just as well in Texas.

Ahhh...MISS LIS, yes, it was awesome. Please, please everyone at some point in their lives, please try to get to Europe. I loved London but really really LOVED PARIS. I cannot believe I did not go sooner. So much to do, so much to see, so much history and architecture and art!! Just breathe-taking, all of it.
