We ripped out the shower adn tub in our master bath. The people before us had already redone it but they really screwed it up. They covered up dry rot and then some. It is a mess and I am sure we are in way over our heads...had not really planed on ripping out the tub BUT it seemed as if it might end uo in the spare room below fairly soon...DH and I can handle the demo its the rebuild that concerns me

I like the decorating kind of thing. We just buy a new house right before things start to go on our current house!!!

Hey that sounds like a plan, the house we bought was bulit in the 20's..so a little old. The house has sooo much character. We have put a good deal of work into it and looks like that will not be changing anytime soon...LOL

I am trying to figure out how to saty current/ cathc up/ and where to read posts from...

I'm soooo jealous!!! Those older homes are AWESOME!!!! You're right....the new ones really don't have the same special kind of thing that only older homes have!!! Just fabulous!!!!

I had some champagne earlier, but I have moved onto coffee! DH and I went out to eat ALONE last night and I had a couple of drinks. I woke up with cotton mouth from HE**, so I knew better than to try to drink anything tonight. I am a lightweight in my old age.
