Hey Trisha, what about cooking a Boston Butt (Pork Roast) in a Crock Pot. Then pull the meat off the bone and make a nice gravy with Mashed potatoes. It's easy, season it up and put it in the crock all day long. I'm even considering that this year. I'm tired of ham and turkey too!
Hi Mary!

I'm tired of ham and turkey, too. Your idea sounds like a good one. I definitely want to utilize my crockpot to make things a little easier. :thumbsup2

My friend has three kids....5,, 4, and 3. People ALWAYS say things to her. "Are they all yours???" or her favorite..."Do you know how that happens???"

That sounds good.

For Christmas day it will just be our immediate family (Christmas Eve too actually but we go out to a movie and dinner every Christmas Eve since moving away from family so I don't need a meal). Anyhooooooooooo...I am throwing a roast (beef...not pork) into the crock pot in the morning after the kids open their gifts. I am making homemade noodles (not as hard as it sounds), rolls, corn and mashed taters to go with it. That's it...simple but loved by all and they beg for the homemade noodles and I NEVER do them...well...very rarely! ;)

The thing is.....they're all adopted, so she completely didn't plan to have 3 kids so close in age. She says she just wants to say something smart to them! :rotfl:

YUMMY!!! What time is dinner, we'll get a good start heading out to your house? You're only a couple of states away, we should be able to make it in 12 + hours. How far are you from Kingsport? DH's brother and his family live there, and his mom and dad live in Jonesville VA, about 1 hour from Kingsport.
