The phone rang. Then that phone call led to another. Then I forgot what I was doing and started something else...

Then I forgot I put water on for tea!

I'm back with my mug and steeping tea bag.

My weekend was very busy.

We had all day workshops Saturday for destination imagination with DD.

Sunday morning we were teaching classes, going to church, then DH and I went on a lunch and Christmas shopping date the rest of the day.

I woke up this morning so confused on what day it was.

Just got the girls dressed, to school. Then I took their lunches up to the school later when I got them fixed.

Now I'm looking at my bedroom with laundry and half packed stuff. I can't even find the bed.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

I'm getting in pre-trip panic mode.

Yeah, but I have to go, it's time to teach Social Studies. I'll be back in about an hour and a half.

DD is 3rd grade, in her first DI year. They are doing a CSI gadget/skit. I have no idea how it is going to turn out. However DD is having a really good time apparently.

I love it. I get afree tshirt, snacks and G/T credit and get to be entertained all day! They are too cute!

We leave Friday, and we're driving!!! Three kids. First long road trip for DS. the girls have been to Florida and Colorado, so they know what to expect.

Wow...that will be something then. How long of a drive is it ? How old are your kids?

The actual driving time is 19-20 hours. We're stopping for the night in Milton, Florida. Hoping to arrive ASM by 4 pm Saturday.

DD 1 is turning 9 this month.

DD 2 is 6

DS is 3.

Thats a long trip. Its 12-14 for us depending on traffic and bathroom stops. We usually do it in one day and thats exhausting and we don't have kids yet. So I can imagine with kids it is pretty hard. What great ages for a WDW trip though. How long will you all be at WDW ?

It can be exhausting.

Mobile DVD players are a life saver!!!!

We're packing lots of movies and music.

Plan on them playing counting car games, etc.

Plus milestone awards, possibly in Disney dollars!

We're staying one night at ASM. Then check into BWV Sunday. Check out Friday the 15th.

We'll slow down coming home. Maybe staying a second night on the road, taking longer breaks.

I expect to be back late on Sunday the 17th.

That sounds really nice Scrappy. Do you have anything else special planned while you are there? Are you going to MVMCP ? We haven't been to that, but one year when we were there they had all the decorations up and I couldn't believe all of it. We got the new planning DVD and watched it last night. And it made me want to go even more. Hopefully next fall if there is free dining offered to the public.

We're not doing the MVMCP since it would be about $200 extra AND our kids would be so tired and whiney. DH's boss has kids about our age, has been numerous times to WDW, said it wouldn't be worth it for us.


From what I have heard, free dining will be offered next fall. At least it is being offered in the pilot program for the future stay guests.
