Has anyone done the LUAU at the POLY recently? My DS and his DGF are going in March and would like to try it.

We did it many years ago when he was little and he loved it, but it has been a while and I don't ever see anything on the Boards about it.

Would someone/anyone at all Post me and let me know if it is still worth the ($50.00pp) (I think he said it was) money!!!

THANKS AND HAVE A MAGICAL DAY!!!! pixiedust:

Went in 2000 and wasn't impressed with food. Haven't been back since.

DH, DS5, DS1 AND I WENT IN JANUARY. THE SHOW WAS GREAT, WELL WORTH THE MONEY. THEY ALSO HAD ALL THE KIDS GET OUT THERE TO LEARN TO HULA! WE HAVE SOME GREAT PICS OF IT. BUT, I AGREE WITH THE PP, DO NOT GO FOR THE FOOD....JMO! I WAS NOT IMPRESSED WITH IT AT ALL! GO FOR THE SHOW AND YOU'LL HAVE A GREAT TIME!

We went in 2004, 11 of us, and aside from the bread, pineapple and salad the food was nothing to write home about. The entertainment got boring after awhile. The flame thrower at the end was great however. I prefer HDDR and would go there before the Luau.

We went once and said never again. Then my neice and our grandneice wanted to go so we took them and the food was just as bad as the first visit. The show was just OK but not anywhere close to a traditional luau.
