I am back from the store. The Mommy Guilt won. I am making these cupcakes for Mr. Middle http://familyfun.go.com/recipes/special/specialfeature/cupcake-finder-birthday/ They are the frog ones on the left hand side of the page. I think i will make a few blue and a few green. I will let you know how they turn out.

Mr. No Fear got to eat fortune cookies while we were at the store. The Chinese cook just loves him so he gave him a handful of cookies. He asked me what they said and I told him what a few of them said. Then he said, "Buy more Chinese! That's what they say Mom."

Most people on the DIS don't even know that there IS a Universal board on here, so we jokingly refer to ourselves as the "red headed step-children of the DIS". The Tag Fairy was gracious enough to visit our board last night and most of the regulars got hit with the Proud Redhead tag.

Metro West is the one that pointed out the "Bring out the redhead" line in that post and thought it would be funny if we took our new tags out for a test drive. That's all. Nothing more profound than that. Just a group of us being silly with our new tags.

I've been away WAY too long!

Don'tcha just hate when the winnerish things in your life take away from your loser time?

Still studying for my life, health, and annuities exam. Anyone want to know anything about insurance? Just ask.... I know more than I EVER wanted to know about these boring subjects. It's a snoozefest. And the worst part? It's NARRATED. The guys voice sounds like Ben Stein in Ferris Bueller's Day Off

I just had a friend tell me that she was moving to Latvia. Have you ever been there? I had never even heard of it before. Her husband got a job there and they are going to be there until Decemeber.

I used to work for an insurance agent. He tried to get me to take that test. That is a LOT of information! Good luck!

Speaking of insurance stuff--the other day when we were in Taco Bell waiting for our food, this lady standing next to DD just starts talking about insurance and the benefits of innuities, etc. We looked at her kinda weird and then realized she was on her blue tooth head set. Those things drive me crazy--you see people walking down the aisle at Target and they something and you think they're talking to you, but really are on the phone! Anyway, DD just looked at me and said "old people should not have that kind of technology"
