The kids just got out of the bathtub. Although there is now a pond in the floor.

Laundry is started, even though there's so many clothes in the laundry room that I can hardly open the door.

Dishwasher is loaded, but I couldn't fit in all the dishes, so there's still some in the sink.

But the kids are hopping into bed right now, and everyone has clothes laid out for tomorrow (including DH) since I won't be here when they get up.

I've let DH dress the children before...but um...well, lets just say it didn't go over well, and left me more than a little embarrassed when I picked DS up from daycare.

Oh, I'm not sure you have....

Oldest DS was about 3 at the time. Daycare changed it's hours, so I wasn't able to get DS up and ready anymore, that job fell to daddy.

So instead of DH looking in the dresser for DS's clothes, DH thought it would be easier and quicker to just grab something out of the laundry basket filled with clean, yet not folded, clothes.

He grabbed one of my shirts. The shirt came down to DS's knees, so it was obviously not his, but DH didn't care. It was already on, and it would be too much work to take it off and find a different shirt.

The shirt that my DS wore all day long was bright orange and said (in glitter, no less) Hot Property.

Seriously, can you imagine the horror and embarrassment that I felt when I walked into daycare and saw him playing monster trucks in THAT shirt?

After that, I vowed DH would never again be responsible for dressing my children. Not on days where we have to go out in public anyway.
