So, DS8 just brought home a plant from school. Aw, how nice, right?

No. It's a cabbage. And supposedly, I have to keep it alive until he goes back to school...in August!!

I'm going to send a note to the teacher in the morning asking for him to be excused from this project, because that thing isn't going to make it 5 days, let alone 5 months!

I told myself that I was going to sit here until 6:00, and then I was going to throw the kids in the bath and throw a load of laundry in the washer and throw some dishes in the dishwasher.

I just looked down and see it's 6:46. ACK!!!

I best get going. A lot to do, only a little time to do it in. And I've got to get to bed early tonight.

Oh, and DS3 just came in with a suitcase and told me to give him a hug and kiss because he's going to Baltimore. So, Lara, if you see my little guy on the road up by your house, please PM me so I can come pick him up.

I think I have an out. It is STILL thundering, even though it is bright and sunny out. The sky is kinda dark on one side, but it looks great out. I tried to explain to DS8 about electricity and do you know what a lightening rod is? He goes through a short dissertation about the function of a lightening rod and it's origin from Benjamin Franklin who invented it.

I explained how a golf club could work the same way, and he is cool staying home..

I told them I would take them next week during spring break.
