Okay, okay, I admit it! I am (gasp!) a crafter! Not big stuff that you would see at a craft fair, but kids' crafts. It was part of my job, many years ago. I have 100+ crafts for paper plates (or styrofoam cups, your pick), know how to turn coffee filters into suncatchers and have multiple recipes for homemade playdoh! PLEASE don't kick me out!

No, I worked for an afterschool program in the school district and we had to really budget our art supplies, so I took to things that had mulitple uses, i.e., leftover plates from snack time--now it's your art project as well!

Ok, ok... I'll admit it. I come from a crafty family. My mother is like the McGyver of crafts, and I just sorta picked up on it.

God grant me stregnth not to throttle my children, for they have driven me insane.

I'm at the in-laws with my children, who I have now spent two straight days with. I love my children, but if they don't go to sleep soon, I fear for their safety.

Looks like you had fun without me. I am trying to distract myself while the children fall asleep. Grrrrrrr!!!!

BTW..they informed me that the hate the Circus. They loved the IDEA of going to the circus, but it turns out that then they got there they ended up hating it. DD says it's sooooooooooooooo boring!

nataliela, your poor baby with that collar. We have been through that a couple of times..with our lab..he was clumsy with it, knocking into everything and when he would eat, the entire cone would enclose over the bowl..too funny, but he was ok with it. how long does your baby have to wear it?


y'all I cooked dinner tonight and received a compliment from DS10.. I made Shrimp scampi (frozen cooked and peeled shrimp-don't tell anyone here in Savannah, we are supposed to buy them fresh and peel them ourselves..-in my own butter sauce: ) and he said, "These shrimp are delicious!":faint I gave him mine and he ate those too!! So now they are eating all the candy they got today...then more tomorrow from the party, then more the next day..At least I cooked one non meat meal for DH today...

Well, I think I'm gonn leave y'all a little early today. I need to find something to eat since DS10 ate my shrimp. maybe a bowl of cereal.

Love it when they do that. They want to go to the circus and the say they hate it. My god daughter who is now 23 we still tease about how she begged to go to the cicus her mom and dad took her and the first sign of a clown she was done. Then the next year she begged again

DD hasn't slept in THREE days! No, I'm serious! She has been up past 11 PM (her choice, not mine) for the last two nights. No naps during the day and she has been up by no later than 7:30 AM. DH says I need to wear her out because she is stuck in the house (Umm...hello? I am stuck in here as well and I don't have any trouble sleeping!) Actually, my argument to him was that she has been to gymnastics, preschool and even playing in the snow and she is still going. I put her to bed early tonight in the hopes that I will mess up her internal clock and she will think it is later than it really is (does that make ANY sense at all?)

Anyway, LaraK, I feel your pain!

I can actually be crafty if I have to. I just dont choose to KWIM. DS10's project although a pain to get going I usually get into showing how to make it look better. And I do much better craft wise if i have a sample, then I can totally build on that.

Also I know I complained but I atucally like working on this yearbook and all the collages. I just wish I had the time to do it. I feel like I never get the other stuff then I feel guilty doing the other stuff.
