Morning all.

Somebody forwarded that waxing story to me via email months ago. Must have copied it and sent it out into the great beyond. Just so you know, you are famous beyond the DIS borders (but without credit). :rotfl:

Lara, I have to go with coughing up blood being a bad thing. I'm not one to run to the doctor for every little thing, but blood coming from an orafice where blood should not be... yeah, that warrants a trip to the doc.

Here's a fun fact for you gals: Dry Erase marks on denim do NOT wash out.

Don't ask how I know this. Just accept it as fact. :headache:

OK, checking in. I had a REAL loser moment, I guess I deserved it. After I left you guys I was still messing around on the Disboards. All the while I am hearing Mr. Slobbermouth squeaking the way he does when he has to go out. I'm thinking, "just one more post, just one more post..." I finally start downstairs and I hear this squirting sound..my heart sinks. Mr Slobbermouth has had a bout of diarrea(sp) and it's all over his floor..(not as much as you would expect from a 160 lb dog..but yucky, yuck,yuck,yuck...) So now #4 on my list becomes top priority...OMG, the stench was awful...Whoever invented PineSol has my eternal gratitude. I took the dude outside to get whatever was left in him out, and put him on the deck while I wiped up and mopped. Thank God I bought a new mop yesterday, and a new bottle of PineSol, don't know how I would have done it without it..

Then ran the fan to get some of the asphyxiating fumes out of there, and swept the rest of the house. Then I had to take a shower to get all the aromas off of me...

My nose is fried from all the smells, I couldn't smell Cinabon Apple Pie baking if it were right in front of me...

Anybody want a perfectly lovely, hairy, smelly, beast for a few years?...I'll pay you..

Wow. I would have to trade you. I have a 100 lb mutt with regular flatulence issues and artheritis.

Here's a good shot of her imitating DH and DS2 (plumber butts):

Hey y'all the "Rude and Shelfish" (misspelling intentional;) ) thread is up and running again with our "pudding chick" back at it...

Those are great pictures!

It's lunchtime, but I'm not eating, I'm fasting....because I'm good.

Those are some good pictures.

Mr. Slobbermouth? Is that his given name?

Lara: I think you should have some shelfish for lunch instead.

ok so here is my morning I go to Target sucessfully spend a fortune only forget one thing on my list but I managed to remember the Thank you notes (b4 people start thinking how rude we are) and another laundry basket (see I learn form ya all:thumbsup2 )

Next I go pick up DS5 at preschool. The teacher says I have good news and bad news. Oh great. The good news the blueberry muffin special snack was a big hit Whew!, the bad news we have the class mascot until Friday which means I have to come up with stuff for the stuff pig to do Oh joy but it gets better, she recommends I washOinky first bc the kid who had him b4 was sick and she asked the mom and they only spot washed the darn pig. WTH?????:headache: so now I have to wash the darn thing b4 DS can go near it. Gee thanks for the chore!

So now DS5 and I are off to get ashes for Ash Wed. Well I forgot that DS doesnt really remember getting them so I explain what is going to happen. So we ge up to the priest and I look over and he is covering his forehead, priest manages to stick his hand in their anyway. So in his NOT church voice says as we are walking back to our seats "can we wash this off now?" and hides his head in the pew. :lmao:

So I have successfully traumatized my son for the day and now I have the lovely taks of cleaning a pig bc the person b4 me was rude and got their germs all over the thing:laundy:

Bad Parenting 101... do NOT turn the class pet in dirty, especially if your kid was sick while said stuffed animal was in your possession. :sad2:

I was just scrolling down the CB.

Do you realize that the word "rude" is in at least half a dozen thread titles today. Is everyone really that "rude" out there? Is there something in the water? Should I avoid public toilets today? :scared:

Yeah, everyone sems to be in a bad mood today. I was on the DL board today and there are people sort of arguing over there too. Usually that board looks like this.:hippie:

Really Bad Parenting 101...Do NOT KILL OFF the class pet! Even if it was a 3 or 4 year old hamster who was obviously pretty hardy to start with to be able to survive years of 4 & 5 year olds taking him home every weekend. I'm pretty much convinced that my son contributed to its demise. Dropping it behind the bed & giving it a bath (more than likely by holding it upside down under the cold running water) probably didn't do it any good. It "got sick" the day we brought it back to school & was dead before the next weekend. Poor little hamster. :(

I've also killed off more fish than I care to count. Finally gave up on that & put the aquarium in the garage. I also lost a turtle in the yard. Good thing the cats are bigger. I've never lost one of them yet.

I have successfully completed the portion of my week than involves working the yard. :woohoo: And did the last bit of it in the rain. Of course it stopped raining as soon as I brought everything in & now the sun's out but as far as I'm concerned I'm done! :cool1:

On to the cleaning!

I just had to borrow that, it's so cute! And appropriate.

It's about time for me to head off and sit in the waiting line to pick up DS6 from Kindergarten.

Before I go, does anyone else get those ads on some webpages for mortgage rates that have the computer-generated person dancing?

That dancing person (and I've seen 3 different ones), gives me the heebie geebies.

Is it just me?

Awwwwww what an adorable face. Part Newfoundland?

Actually, he is purebred Newf. His coloring is called "Landseer", named after some artist that used to paint them (pictures of the dogs, not the actual dogs:laughing: ...) many years ago. He is the apple of my DH's eye, he is not endearing to my heart at all. I have to clean up after him..his nickname is Slobbermouth (also Stupid, but that upsets DH, so I can only use that when he's not around) and Stinky...his registered name is Mount Mitchell, named after a mountain peak in NC where he was born..not ON the mountain peak, just in the state....:confused3

Think Turner and Hooch and remember the head shaking, slobbertossing messes? MY LIFE...

Nope he scares me:scared1:

EWWWW!

We have Labs and they are outside dogs. I do love them though. I taught my girl to pick stuff up for me when I was pregnant. She would pick all sorts of stuff up for me. She was like having a service dog. She still picks up her tennis ball for me if I accidentally drop it.

My ad at the top keep asking me if I am moving to Tokyo.

My ad is all about Newfoundlands.

And yes I have seen those dancing people in the mortgage ads. Have also seen them in continuing Ed ads and auto insurance ads. And they all dance the same way. It is so annoying.

See they want you to take hrh's.

Linta: Whenever I see your location, all I can think about is green chiles. YUM! We used to buy ones called Canon's Sweet Hots. My dad lives in Farmington.
