Day One
So this was a surprise trip for ashleigh. The biggest surprise of all was that i kept my mouth shut lol. On sunday morning i woke up at seven and got my camcorder ready, all excited to break the news to my lovely dd who i knew would be so super excited. so i sit on the bed, camera rolling, gently call her out of her sleep. she half wakes up and sits and and looks at me. of course surprising a tired half asleep child at seven in the morning is a great plan. i just knew it would be. Ashleigh, guess where we are going today. No answer, Ashleigh have a guess. Still no answer. Ashleigh we are going to .................................................................................................................DISNEYLAND
Her response. No im tired and she promtly layed back down in the bed and went back to sleep.
Yeah not my best plan to date
About five minutes later she sat bolt upright and said mammy what did you say to me. So i started the whole thing all over again and thank God her reaction was the one i was looking for
She was laughing and jumping all over the place and so excited when she saw i packed all her dresses.

The start of it shows poor ash when i tried to surprise her and then her reaction once she had actually woken up.
I told her she could wear her minnie mouse dress on the plane which led to more screaming and hugs and kisses. She does love her dresses lol.
We got ready and headed to the airport at around nine. Since there airport here is so teeny tiny that left tons of time before our plane left at 11.
We had breakfast in the airport, well ash and my mam did, i always feel really ill before i travel. It never happens on the way home, just the way there.
Ash begged me to get her a model airplane from sky shopping and i couldn't say no lol. She really is very good and doesn't ever ask for anything. Little did i know that the plane would make the most obnoxious noise ever. Yet another not well thought out plan!!
Once we get to cdg of course we are waiting ages for ashleighs buggy. It happens every time but i never ceases to make me less nervous that they have lost it and she will have to walk for the week. It finally turned up and we went out to get our taxi with ezyshuttle. Again i cannot recommend this service enough. Fantastic friendly people and very reliable.
We checked in and didnt get a room where we had requested but it was close enough. We had a ground floor room in block 50.
I booked my mam in just paying local taxes as she has an annual pass.
We dumped our stuff in the room and headed straight for the bus. We got to the village and booked our tickets for buffalo bills the next night. My mam got a free ticket with her annual pass for her birthday and i used my shareholders discount for the tickets for me and ashleigh.
We then went to annettes because we were starving at this point. I had the free meal vouchers which gave me 24 euros and ash 10 euros for dinner. We shared one adults meal of soup, chicken burger and brownie between me and my mam and still had food left over. Ash had pasta with sauce and it came with a little cup of cheese. The meal was ok but the chicken in my burger was stone cold. I was in a rush and guessed if i sent it back they would just microwave it so we ate it was it was.
After the meal we parted ways as it was an annual pass blackout day. My mam headed back to the hotel to unpack and relax. Me and ash legged it to the park.
The first thing that hit us was how busy it was. I thought don't worry its sunday, the crowds will die down. We got on its a small world after a twenty minute wait but its ashleighs fave ride so it was ok.
We spotted some characters but they were leaving. Mickey mouse gave ash a hug as he passed so she was happy. We had a look around at the queues for the rides and decided we couldn't wait that long for anything.
We had a walk through the different lands. Ash was hoping to see some characters but i knew it was too late at this stage, it was almost six.
We headed to the stage for the showtime spectacular. Ash wanted to see stitch so we waited at the side. Sulley came down first, ash loves him she says he is so cuddly.
Then lilo and stitch came down. Ash got a high five from lilo and a cuddle from stitch.
Then minnie came down and ash was really pleased to show minnie her dress. Of course the only picture i get ash has put her teddy in front of her face lol. typical.
After the show we head back to fantasyland where we do another bit of a wait for iasw. We notice that the storybook rides were opened but with long queues so we hope to see them opened during the week. After one last ride on the carousel we decide to head back to the hotel. It had gotten very cold, we were both tired and the queues for everything were pretty long.
We got back to the hotel and had a look in the shop, we went to sleep hoping it would be quieter the next day
