The Longest Chain Thread In Dis History!!!!!!!

To be the longest one...obviously, we have a lllooonnnggg way to go, but in the meantime, it's kind of nice to just have random thoughts...What's yours?:goodvibes

I know the OP said just to post anything and I have a lot of "anything" going through my mind at any given moment. ;)

my mind is in disney mode. and my boyfriend has something up his sleeve. a little box came the other day and he has been having me look up disney for july. i told him that i want to get engaged at disney this could be it

Hey Parla.

I am constantly changing my desktop on my computer. I normally go to the thread on here Disney Photo of the Day and pick one. Right now I have a picture of Disney Monopoly...so cute.. DS loves it....Every night he asks to look at the Disney photos on computer......I think I have him addicted...LOL

How did you win the trip? That is so awesome!!!

I enter a lot of sweepstakes. I won from an Alamo sweep. They were giving away 100 trips. You could only enter once online and as much as you wanted by mail. I thought that too many people would be entering an infinite amount of times by mail to be worth a bunch of stamps so I just entered once online. It's for four nights and includes airfare and a rental car. I have friends that scoff because it doesn't include meals. They are obviously not Disney freaks. I will gladly buy our meals for a free trip to Disney. Since we have the car rental we are going to make a quick snack/water stop which will save us money and time from standing in line just for water. When we went to Paramount's Kings Island a couple of years ago they had vending machines for water and Coke everywhere. I was kind of surprised to see that Disney didn't have an easier way to get cold water.

This was the first time I showed DH an affidavit and even he got excited about the prize I had won. We were thinking of trying to swing another trip in a few years but things keep coming up to put a dent in saving.

I thought for sure we would be at 400 when I got back on.

I took DS to Toys R Us and got him Chip and Dale movie...go figure...LOL

Then, we ran to Target and got a Go Diego Bubble Blower and some sidewalk chalk.

It is so nice out...65 degrees for once...

We played outside for about 2hrs. Now my mom is giving him a bath.....as she is up visiting for a few weeks....She lives in Louisiana and only gets up about 3 times a year...

Now, I am babbling....:rotfl:

I couldn't do 100 posts all by myself! :rotfl:

It certainly is beautiful outside. We chose a bad weekend to finally watch all the movies we have from the library and Netflix. So far we watched Shaggy Dog which was pretty decent and Valiant which I got kinda bored with and got up to go put cookies in the oven and ended up not going back. Up next, Brother Bear 2. I loved the first one.

WooHoo..!!!

DS has two woody dolls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He used to be obessed with that movie for about 6 months.....

He would walk it 2 times a day from start to finish.

Now his new obsession is House of Mouse.........one of the best cartoons in my opinion, go figure...

My DS has always loved Toy Story and Toy Story 2. He has Woody and Buzz dolls and DD has a Jessie doll. They also like House of Mouse. Luckily they like almost all Disney stuff. We had a DVD in the player in the van one day and a commercial for California Adventure came on (it was an old DVD;)). The commercial said, "Coming soon from Disney." DD got all excited (even though she had seen this commercial dozens of times and shouted, "If it's from Disney, that means I'm gonna love it!"

That sounds really exciting. Do you think you will get married there too? I want to really start saving so DD can get married there one day. Is that planning too far in advance?

That is so awesome..

I always enter contests, but never win a thing.

Does your trip include the tickets, too? I assume they do.

Have you mailed any post cards in yet for YOMD? I haven't mailed any.

Some people were saying the post card carried the wrong size and you would have to cut them. I didn't want to put a lot of effort into them and then have them be rejected......

I might go ahead and get like a weeks worth and try....

DS loves anything Disney, too...

He hadn't mentioned a lot since our trip this past May.......He was only 2 and half.

THen, he started seeing commercials on tv with the castle, saw me looking at pictures on here and now every week, he says "Mommy, I got to go to Dizzy....as he calls it....:rotfl: :rotfl:

I have created a Disney addict and am proud!!!

Isn't Netflix awesome?

Right now we are up to Scrubs in our Que.....We have seen Season one and now are at Season two....We love that show.........

I couldn;t get DS to watch Brother Bear. It looks so cute....

It is hard to get him to watch new movies.....If one happens to come on tv and he happens to see it, then he is all for it....like Three Musketeers, the Disney cartoon, which came on the other night and now he is obsessed with it......Thank God for DVR!!!

Where did everyone go? Eating dinner?

Hurry up.........

It's all about randomness of thought. My random thought is we are gonna be at Disneyland in 1 day, 16 hours and 48 minutes. Woo hoo!:woohoo:

So, my new obsession in Spring is to go to Consignment Sales and see how great a bargain I can get. Today we had a wonderful one and the 'bestest' thing I got for myself, oops I mean my daughter ;) is a 3' x 2' x 3' tall Barbie house, with furniture, 6 Barbies and clothing.

I told DH that our 20 month old girl will love it! Of course, I couldn't wait to play with it, too. And Yes, DD liked it, esp moving the furniture around...she isn't into dolls/Barbies yet. But oh, the memories!

That sounds like a lot of fun for you, I mean your daughter...LOL:rotfl:

I had a dollhouse when I was little and my dad cut up rug samples from his work and carpeted all of the rooms.........It was so much fun!!!

My husband just laughed. I think he thinks Stephanie(fhs_chick_2005) and I are nuts. But he is humoring us. I can hardly wait. We leave tomorrow! Woo Hoo! :cool1: :yay: :cheer2:

he probably is humoring us... but if it wasn't for ME he wouldn't get to sit the front seat.... the sacrifices I make for him....:confused3 :confused3

We live in the San Francisco bay area. And yes we will visit California Adventure I like it. A lot of people don't like California Adventure because it isn't Disneyland but that is what I like about it. I plan on keeping up with this thread while we are there because hubby has homework and we are taking our laptop. So I will send random trip thoughts!

California Adventure looks more like a thrill park. Does it have a lot of roller coasters? I would love to go there when DS gets bigger.

Where are you staying? Do they have a lot of hotels like Disney World does?
