The long weekend grind 9/1-93

Happy September and Labor Day weekend!

Was able to FaceTime Megan last night! Seeing her happy face and excitement in her voice made my mommy heart happy. She got a few things figured out and switched a class. Been exploring campus and knows where all her classes are. Having fun with activities and hanging out with friends.
I’m doing okay. Slept better last night.

Hope everyone has fun planned for the weekend.

Pay bills
Balance checkbook
Few chores

Sunday:
Print photos from phone
Clean desk off
File papers
Dinner at a friends

Not sure yet

Drove home from DD’s early this morning
Out to breakfast with DH
Now just sitting here waiting for the power to come back on
Trees, INC is on our road so hoping it will be today!!
Then - clean fridge & freezer. What a mess that’s gonna be Power has been out since Tuesday evening And we don’t have a generator!
Supper at the lake to celebrate a birthday

Clean & laundry if power is back on
Church
Maybe go out to the lake - calling for rain

Labor Day
DD is coming home so we’ll go help her pack up - coming home day is lots of work but it’s been a good summer!
