The Long Awaited Trip Report-Finally Back in the Magic!

Cast:

Me: (13) Head Navigator, shopaholic and hater of IASM (don’t shoot me!)
Sarah: (10) All-round princess , scaredy-cat and lover of IASM
Dad: (jmichael1) Chief-payer, head chauffeur and basically in-charge
Mum: (Wouldn’t You like To Know!) Disney-fanatic (although she will not admit it) and pin-collecting genious


Thump.
Ouch.
“Saraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!”
Oh yes DS had rolled me off of the bed and onto the floor to wake me up.
“I’m gonna kill you!!!!” and with that she was off running around the Barbados room in CBR like she was being chased by a wild elephant.
After that weird start to the day we set off on the 5 min walk round the lake to Old Port Royale. When we arrived we purchased mugs and our breakfast. After having a look around the shop we set off back to the room where our bags and pin collections from the 2 previous years were waiting for us. We locked the room and climbed into the rented 4x4.
We arrived at MK pretty quickly and ended up in the Pluto section of the car park. We jumped aboard the little tram to take us to the TTC. We decided to go by monorail so after that short ride we headed into the MK park for the first time in a year. We wandered through the shops in MS USA then got a FP for PPF. Much to the dismay of DS IASM was closed for refurb. Decided to tackle the favourite rides today, visit favourite shops and then go for ice-cream. These rides were PPF, POTC, HM, BLSRS, Winnie the Pooh, Barnstormer and Dumbo!!!! Looked around the shops but didn’t buy much. Sarah, of course bought basically random things that she didn’t really need! We all began to get quite hungry so Dad and DS grabbed a seat am me and Mum went for ice-cream because it was obviously too hot for us Scot’s to eat anything other than that.
Back to CBR late afternoon for a swim and to explore the resort.
Burried DS in the sand which was an improvement and went to the main pool after eating at the food court in CBR.
Then back to the room for a good sleep before another busy day of Disney-ing

Sarah had better not think of rolling me out of bed tomorrow

Enjoyed reading your report. Hope you had a great trip. We visited your country in 2002, Glasgow (hope I spelled that right). Our hosts took us to Loch Lommond, Loch Ness, Iverness, Stirling, Fort George, it was great! You have a very beautiful country, feel in love with the highlands......hopefully we will visit again soon!

Wow!!! you've been to Scotland??!! Yep you spelled Glasgow right! I just live down the M8 from Glasgow past the (tiny) airport in Greenock
it's very, very,very wet down here!

I'll try and get the rest on soon but i've got some other stuff that needs done

AWwww!! If we could only hear your dear accent in your reports!!! When I went to Scotland...I thought the beaches were like the Atlantic or Gulf Coasts in the states...(looney college student...not well travelled) and I rushed out to the beach and soon found that the sand was more like sinking sand and the rocks are very hard on the mouth...slipped...fell..have x shaped scar to remember Scotland by! But everyone was very kind and neat to see folks that looked just like my grandmother (a far removed Scot by 2 generations of the McDougal clan)...
