The Living Seas--Operational Update?

I am going to be in Disney from 1/23-1/28 and I have been checking on the operational updates for some of my favorites. The Living Seas in Epcot used to be listed as closed for refurbishment ( ), but when I checked today it's not on the list. Does anyone know if The Living Seas is going to open now for that week? Please, Please, Please let me know, as that was one of the things that I REALLY wanted to see and my whole group will be delighted if it is now going to be open.

We were there in mid-December and it was open. However, we didn't have enough time to go see it. We haven't been there in 10 years......

They are still working on the Living Seas. It is supposed to close again sometime in the Spring. They have you going in what was the exit before.

Living seas needs a MAJOR REDEUX. I dread the 15 mins we spend in there for my daughter.

IMHO it was much better before when the trams worked and they "sold" the sea base alpha story a little more.

I am very excited about the sea cabs coming back with a Nemo theme - or at least that's what I've heard, hope it's true. I always love the aquariums there because the kids are so facinated by the marine life. And Crush is the best - very cool.

safetymom: Does this mean that then exhibit is open to go thru, but still under construction? I really want to see the aquariums. This is my first trip, so I'm not familiar with the lay-out.

Yes you can still see the tanks. They are working on the entrance and preshow areas.
