The Little House...plans Disney Dining...

Well I know my last trip report didn't go so well, so I had to think if I wanted to attempt another one. My wife and I and son Sam have been through so much since he was born...that I had to do another.

Players......

Me...Jason...proverbial know it all about Disney...well thats what I like to think. But 30+ trips...I can't be that bad can I? Anyway...don't mind the picture....I like to eat. Thus why we are trying Dining for the first time!

Sam...he is 7 months old right now. His first trip to Disney was when he was in his moms belly...but please don't tell him. He will be 13 months when we go to Pop...so really his second trip. As you can tell he likes to eat....so what better than a trip to Disney with dining! Hes my miracle child...our first..born with a defect that strikes 1 in 5000 children. He has had three surgeries in his short life so far...one at 2 days and the second at 3 months...the third is done and should be the last.

Mom...Brandy....will be her third time at Disney. Never went to Florida or Disney until our honeymoon in 2001. I think she is as bad as me...but doesn't read up as much as I do about Dis. She plans on going to Disney every year regardless if we can't pay our mortgage or not.

I decided to check out AAA vs Disney...and found I got a little better deal with AAA. We are praying for free dining, but going regardless. I called Disney dining reservations yesterday and this is what we have planned....

Sept. 3rd - Crystal Palace 8:05 AM
Liberty Tree 5:45 PM

Sept. 4th - The Garden Grill 6:00 PM

Sept. 5th - Whispering Canyon 6:00 PM

Sept. 6th - Hollywood and Vine (Jo Jo WOOT!) - 12:15 PM

Sept. 7th - Donalds Breakfast - 8:00 AM


The trip...We are checking into POP on the 2nd and checking out on the 8th. Did I tell you we are driving down from Vermont? Yes from Vermont...leaving Friday the 31st....fun fun! Staying in NC on the way down and Virginia on the way back, for a few nights...checking out the Civil War sites.


Transportation....

2006 Chevy Cobalt....with current gas prices we can't do it with my wifes SUV.

Sam is adorable--I'm happy to hear he's doing well after all he's been through.

You are one brave family to drive down all that way with a baby! Although I seem to remember it was easier at that stage than once they hit toddlerhood. Sounds like a fun trip!
