Does anyone know where these are going to be located in MGM and a little more about it? I know it opens Dec 9th (we will be there!) and I love these types of movies so I think it will really be something I would love to check out.

TIA

According to narniafans.com:

"Coming in 2006, Disney-MGM Studios Guests Can Step Behind the Scenes of 'The Chronicles of Narnia' Motion Picture.

For fans of C.S. Lewis' timeless adventure The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, Disney-MGM Studios is transforming a soundstage into the frozen world of Narnia and taking guests behind-the-scenes of the movie-making magic in the film based on the book. Guests will enter the frozen world of Narnia through a giant wardrobe.

In addition to props and set pieces, guests will see elaborate creatures, costumes, and armor used in making the film.

The walk-through experience is located in Soundstage 4 on Mickey Avenue."

I wasn't able to find anything for you on the official Disney web site, I would think the opening of the walk-through would be closer to the time of the movie opening up (Christmas) so they can do some cross-promotion? Maybe they need more time to get the exhibit ready? Anyway, have fun on your trip!

Thanks. You are awesome, I would have never thought to look on a narnia site. :disrocks:

Very cool! :cool1: We'll be there that weekend... just one more surprise to add to our surpise trip!!!

Hi! I was at the Studios yesterday, and dropped by Guest Relations to confirm. They said they would be located in the same area where the Haunted Mansion sets were in Soundstage 4 on Mickey Avenue.

The cast member I spoke to said to expect it starting as early as Friday, November 18th when the nationwide advertising of the movie begins in earnest. She said most definitely by early December for sure when the movie is released.

Thanks everyone for all your info! Can't wait for this movie as well as this exhibit. Have a Disney Day, Andy.

Hi!

I didn't know this - I absolutely love The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. I remember reading this book when I was a child. I will also be visiting Disney early December so I will be able to check this out. Thanks for the information! :cloud9:

If you're wondering where Soundstage 4 is, it's right next to One Man's Dream on the left side of OMD if you're looking straight at the entrance.

I REALLY hope it will be open when we are there last week Nov/first Dec.

My daughters love the book series!

I'm so sad I am going to miss this. We go at the begining of November. I love seeing these types of exhibits. I am so interested in movie costumes especially. I also spent a lot of time as a kid looking in wardrobes for the lamp post, so am very excited to see this movie!!! The trailer looks awesome.

Does anyone know how long the set will be up? I'm going next June and would LOVE to see it!! The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is my all-time favorite children's book. I have read it to my 4th grade class every year for the past 12 years!!!!! Would love to have some pics of this!!! :sunny:

Just heard that Disney-MGM Studios' Soundstage 4 will reopen on December 9 as a walk-through Narnia attraction, based on the Disney movie version of C.S. Lewis’ book, the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. :cool1: My kids will totally loved this

We are going to be at WDW for Thanksgiving - I had hoped to see it then!! Maybe??
