The line at BOG for PPO ADR

Can anyone give me a sense of how the CMs work this line? My understanding is the line is first come-first served for all comers with a PPO ADR.

We have an 8:00 am ADR on a presumed 9am opening day.

If we arrive at the line around 8:15, do you think we will be ok? I know no one here can guarantee anything, I know the policy and that its up to the CM, just wondering how it actually works in practice for BOG breakfast.

We plan to get to the front gate 7:30-7:45, but don't want to rush on the way back to the castle and have time to smell the roses, if you will.

Thanks!

You'll be in good shape with a 8:15 AM arrival at BOG.:)

That may effect, however,if you'll be done in time to catch one of the early rides on SDMT(if they do it that particular day)if that is important to you.:)

In our experience, it really depends on the CM at the check in desk. Some don't really care if you are late to your ADR, sometimes they will mark you as a no show and you will be charged $10 per person, even if it is only 15 minutes. BOG is extremely busy, for all meals, and depending on how far back in the entrance line you are, what time they actually let you in, and how long the check in line is, you could be arriving later than 8:15a. If it is important to you to not rush back there and have time to "smell the roses", perhaps you should look for a later ADR. That way, you could still get in early and not have to rush. :goodvibes

Yep, I've been looking for a later one- and an 8:10 slipped through my fingers yesterday.

I think we'll plan to be there at 8 as scheduled, and if we feel we need more time to meander I can always schedule later the next time.

So excited!

At park opening, the exact time of your reservation makes a lot less difference than at other times - this is particularly true at CRT and Crystal Palace, so I would assume the same is true at BoG. First thing in the morning, their main concern is getting people seated, and getting things flowing. So if the first guest in line happens to have an 0820 seating, no problem. And if the 0805 guest happens to be back in line a bit, they're not typically concerned.
(Caveat - it's probably been three years since I've had an early-morning reservation at the MK, so it's always possible things could change - but it was the way I described for a long time, so I'd be surprised if this changed.)

If you have an 8:55am PPO ADR for BOG will they seat you earlier? We want to get there around 7:45am and get in, take a few photos and then eat. We'd like to be seated earlier than 8:55am if that is allowed.

For OP we had an 8am reservation on a 9am opening but they only opened the gates for us at 8:05 and we took our time and got some castle pictures. We got to BOG about 8:20 and they never said anything about being late. Unlike when we were 14 minutes late to Sci-Fi and they told us we just barely made it.

I would also preorder, that's the only way we got out of there before the RD crowd came.

I am not sure that the CM at the gates will let you in that early. If it was important to e I woudl try, but with the realization that I may be waiting a while.
