Who doesn't love Judy??

And of course, there are plenty of families at Gayday and children are welcome. And if he's at least 16 he can be my designated driver if I go to any of the parties :rotfl:

Fun story about Joe Biden. It seems someone bought his cufflinks for $1.15 at a thrift store on accident...

I'm more of a Liza girl, myself.

He's definitely old enough to drive! He says he's going to make a CD of Judy and Liza just for the trip!

You better do a trip report!

I am getting really excited. As I was leaving the drive- through at my bank, I said to the girl, "Happy New Year..17 more days." First she was puzzled, then she broke out in a wide grin..and gave me a thumbs up. It made my day and hers!!

Yay! I saw a 1/20/09 sticker on a car in traffic the other day. Was so pleased when I saw it was an elderly couple--gave them a big wave as I passed them (they were driving really slow).

That may have been me....:lmao:

Seriously, I don't drive slow (anymore) but I do have that bumper sticker on my Suburu..As a matter of fact when I go out later I will take a picture of that AND my Obama sticker and post it..

Well, of course it was on the subaru. I thought those came from the factory that way.

And people were saying Joe Biden didn't give enough to charity. Hmph! ;)

Got a "what would you do" question for all you libs.
However it has nothing to do with being liberal (sorry).
I am to start working again next Monday. This has been set up since Sept.
Anyways, the firm called me yesterday and told me I needed to report to an office about hour and half away. They also informed me that my main duty has shifted to taxes (mostly small-medium sized businesses).

Originally, I was to work out of an office that is 20 minutes from my house and I was suppose to work in their auditing department.

So here I am two days before I start and I am dreading this change.
I am considering backing out due to the distance and the change in job description. If this was the original offer I would have said no.
So should I suck it up and go or not?

Depends. How badly do you need the money?

If you can afford to pass this up, then do so if it's not what you want. That was really rotten of the firm to only give you a couple of days notice of the change.

I'd dread driving that far each day. It truly takes up another 3 hours of your day in addition to your working hours. With tax season looming around the corner, would you be able to find something closer to home?

:thumbsup2 I agree.

On the 16th day pre-Obama, my SO gave to me
A membership to NORML and four ounces of medicinal tea! (tea?)

that's pretty inconsiderate. How soon can you get another job? I don't think I'd want to deal with these people.

My husband suffered briefly from DIS-nesia yesterday--he forgot how awful taking two toddlers to Disney is and he suggested we go again in December. Of course, this morning he denied ever having the conversation, but I'm thinking that maybe there's a slight chance . . . . .
