Well I finally watched the interview ofn Youtube.

Coulter is rude and obnoxious. She lacks authenticity and credibility, and has no class what-so-ever. She insulted the host Barbara Walters. I admired the restraint Walters showed in not stooping to Coulter's lever. Walters showed true class, something Coulter knows absolutely nothing about.

I don't know how anyone can be a fan of hers, unless they share the same traits - rude, obnoxious, classless, idiotic, and bigoted.

Coulter needs her jaw re-wired shut.

I thought about posting it "out there" but it really moved me and I wanted to lessen the snark factor by keeping it in friendly territory

This past semester I was observing in a fourth grade classroom. When I visited after the election, one of the students came up to me and said that she was glad that Obama had won the election. I told her that I was glad too and that I thought he would be a great president. As we were talking, another student came over and told us that he was not glad that Obama won because, "he is going to take all of our guns away from us." I told him not to worry and that we should give him a chance first.....really because I did not know what to say!!! I was so suprised to hear that come out of his mouth, but I guess to some the thought of not having the ability to get a gun is devestating.

My cousin's daughter told me that Obama was going to get killed because he's black. I told her that wasn't nice to say.....

I then told her mother when the kid wasn't around what she was saying, and my cousin agreed with her! She then couldn't believe I voted for him. I said to her - "Cath, do you even know me?" I'm a flaming democrat!

My cousins indoctinated their kids into spouting republican rhetoric...... they don't even really know what they are saying.......

My cooperating teacher's class had an assembly so she sent us to observe in a 7th grade social studies class and they were talking about Obama. A few of the students in class were talking and the teacher asked them to share what they were saying with the rest of the class. One of the students spoke up and said that he was told by his older brother that if Obama gets elected he will never live because he will be assassinated. What got me was the teacher's response, he said, "That is a very real possibility." I wanted to ask if the teacher thought anyone elected was in danger or was this just a worry for Obama alone, but I must have made a weird face because the teacher gave me a look. Somehow, I think that could have been handled differently.

My cooperating teacher's class had an assembly so she sent us to observe in a 7th grade social studies class and they were talking about Obama.
